ok let's admit it.. you have been asking me this thing for ages :P I know..blame on me, but I always have had great and honest excuses to avoid organizing any day with you. Swear!

probably a mix of them all.
Afraid seems a weird word doesn't it ? Obviously I'm not afraid of you personally but of what organizing these days can imply. A great change in my life and sooner or later , when I'll have most of the puzzle's pieces in my hands (when it will be even too late to look back and try to escape actually :D ) you'll understand.
I have always my skype contact open you know it (little secret , if you dont' see the busy sign in red it means that probably I'm online though I'm invisible and now that I've told you this I'm wondering why I should put an invisible sign anymore..bah)

the biggest news is that finally I've organized the much requested days in London just for you :)!

Mi sono rilassata qualche giorno anche se pur lavorando già per la prossima stagione e devo dire che ora mi sento decisamente meglio, sono riuscita anche a fare il cambio dell'armadio che mi stava spaventando dalla pochissima (ho detto pochissima?..diciamo nulla ..) voglia di farlo.
Ho già nuovi progetti per il prossimo anno con coppie veramente sempre diverse e interessanti e alcune mi stanno proprio intrigando con richieste che se riesco ad esaudire daranno un bel colpo d'occhio ai loro matrimoni.
Ma passiamo all'ultimo , in senso di calendario, matrimonio fatto.
Beh che dire il Four Seasons è sempre il Four Seasons.
E io sono sempre io.
Già..sono riuscita a far perdere la testa anche ad una delle organizzazioni più precise che esistano a livello eventi. Chiedo perdono, sono troppo fiscale e troppo..."troppa", sono una presenza che non passa inosservata diciamo ne per mole ne' per carattere.
Ringrazio event manager Elisa che è troppo carina e mi ha aiutato molto ad integrarmi, Emanuele maitrè che mi ha sopportato (anche se l'ho visto sbirciare ad un certo punto il suo contratto per vedere se era prevista la clausola "sfruttamento da parte di Magnoliawp"..lo so ti ho visto) e supportato. Al corposissimo staff presente anche se il matrimonio è stato molto intimo.
Grazie alla mia coppia Regan e Josh che sono stati meravigliosi e affettuosi con me e grazie a loro per avermi presentato una videografa californiana meravigliosa e superdolce miss. Julie di Elysium production con la quale lavorerò spero presto insieme per altri progetti.
Poi?..ah grazie al tempo.
C'è stato un solo giorno di pioggia la scorsa settimana e qual'era? Giovedì ovvio :D..ma ce ne siamo fregati tutti quanti perchè è stato tutto meraviglioso.
Guardate ho una grande carriera davanti come wedding planner (sì modestia tsè.. scherzo comunque) , ma non mi venite mai a chiedere di fare delle foto perchè tra che non sono per niente attrezzata e quindi mi arrangio con il mio fido iphone (pure vecchio) e tra che per carità sono proprio negata... insomma tra le foto e me non corre buon sangue quando la fotografa provo ad essere io. (Ma anche quando sono dall'altra parte dell'obbiettivo..). Giuro stanno arrivando le foto ufficiali!
Cerimonia simbolica nella sala della Gheradesca (brividi ) con tema autunnale visti colori molto caldi che la sposa ha scelto : rosso della passatoia, foglie autunnali per il corridoio, petali arancio di rose Naranga (meravigliose) per una incredibile gigantesca lettera B che è l'iniziale del cognome degli sposi..arancio intenso e più leggero per le rose e calle della decorazione dei tavoli.
E candelabri e candele..tante candele.
Cena con atmosfera quasi da principessa sissi (vogliamo esagerare anche meglio di sissi tsè), ospiti allegri e di grande gentilezza.
Che poi io ho approfittato (solo un pochino giuro) per mangiare il tiramisù del ristorante del Four Seasons..roba da paradiso terrestre, pure i dadini di gelatina di mandorle sopra...ok quello prendiamolo come ciliegina sulla torta della serata.
Un servizio impeccabile e tanta classe
E sentire il Four Seasons che mi fa' i complimenti per l'organizzazione non ha prezzo , nemmeno la più dorata mastercard può ripagare tale prezzo.
Ah..:P grazie alla mia sposa che mi ha lasciato per un po' la sua pochette di Jimmy Choo con i brillantini durante la serata , tesoro anche se la stavo solo tenendo per te ho avuto un brivido grande quasi da sana commozione femminile..ohhh quanto adoro Jimmy Choo.
Però l'ha rivoluta indietro uff.
Mi sento come se fosse passato un tir sopra di me (avanti e indietro per gradire anche svariate volte). Mi fanno male le gambe, i piedi e le spalle.
No..non sono andata in guerra. Sono solo reduce dal matrimonio di ieri.
Però...che matrimonio!
Foto schifosa (aspetto mio fido fotografo che è un filino meglio di me..giusto un filino ;) ), ma il contenuto sfiorante la perfezione eccome se me ne ha date di soddisfazioni.

Faccio girare la testa alle mie nuove allieve di domani al seminario (porelle) e torno prima che posso a raccontare.

Inizio a credere che le mezze stagioni ci siano eccome o che siano tornate di gran moda ultimamente. Frescuccio la mattina, calduccio di giorno e piacevole la sera..bah. Io vesto a cipolla con i colori di una castagna , mi sparo litri di spremute di arance e limoni per inglobare più vitamine possibili , mangio kiwi e inzio la goduriosa stagione delle zuppe calde , minestroni , cavoli vari ecc.ecc.. insomma welcome back autunno!
E pensare che ancora non c'è una foglia morta per terra.
Sono in fase di preparazione di un matrimonio per Giovedì e quindi vado e vengo (vado molto e torno poco a dire il vero) in questi giorni. Spero di poter fare delle belle foto perchè data la location e dato lo staff impiegato sono già molto emozionata all'idea di poter vedere il risultato di tutto. Matrimonio intimo ma..vedrete.
E incrociamo le dita per il tempo.
Sono anche abbastanza distesa e rilassata in questo periodo anche perchè dopo questo matrimonio mi concederò un attimo di relax visto che a Novembre non ho nessun evento a cui star dietro, a meno che non me ne escano di last minute come in altre occasioni :P. Prossimo evento ufficiale e anche abbastanza impegnativo a metà Dicembre.
Non che da qui ad allora io mi metta in vacanza figuriamoci, devo preparare tutti gli eventi del prossimo anno, però fermarmi un po' dal salire su auto e treni , alzarmi magari a ore decenti e forse sistemare una volta per tutte questo ufficio ..non sarebbe male.
Ma visto che alla fin fine stare ferma non mi riesce molto, ovviamente le trovo di sotto terra per tenermi occupata nei modi più disparati (ti pare..la pila di panni da stirare ringrazia per non essere nella lista delle precedenze..) . E allora sotto richiesta della mia simpaticissima sposa di Dicembre..ecco una piccola prova di stile allestimento per il suo matrimonio moderno chic.
Nota: la composizione sulla vostra destra è per una zona di accoglienza ospiti che la sposa ha voluto espressamente diversa dallo stile del resto , stessi fiori ma forme diverse. Molte candele (vabbè io ne ho messe poche) e un po' glitter per illuminare visto che la cerimonia sarà di sera...
ovviamente è tutto su un tavolo per questione di spazio , ma al matrimonio avrà tutto molto più senso ;) nelle varie dislocazioni previste
La sposa è molto contenta, io lo sono anche di più...direi che posso tornare a fare di tutto tranne che stirare no?
Como lake view from Villa Cipressi When a couple calls asking me to plan a wedding somewhere in Italy which is not my city or region, I always feel slightly excited.
Planning an event, small or huge , expencive or cheap , rustic or elegant (that doesn't make any difference to the organization itself) makes me feel alive ..I always feel it's time to show what I'm able to do.
I sharp my nails indeed.
As yes, it's not easy to plan a wedding when a couple lives somewhere in the world (probably even far away from me ;) ) , I live in Tuscany and the wedding is held in a completely different spot of Italy from where I live.
Ok let's face it , this situation can worry more than one couple and it's understandable.
I've been contacted more than one year ago from a lovely american lady named Meeta. She has indians origins but she is probably the most trendsetter newyorker I've ever known. Young ,vibrant, joyfull , very strong and sexy omg (and with the widest musical tastes I've ever heard! how do you know Ace of Base? lol you are too young..or I am too old ok).
I'd like to tell you about her (and her fiancè) story with me to show how satisfying the type of organization I've described you before , can be.
At first they wished to get married in Tuscany with a civil ceremony and we've worked for a brief period on that idea untill a happy day (can you hear the sarcasm?) she told me that things had changed and they were interested in a different venue. In a different region.
I discovered that , despite having been on Como Lake for several weddings before , the venue they suggested , that gem of a venue , was completely a surprise to me. Not only I didn't know it but I realised that it is probably the most famoust venue for weddings on that part of the lake. Where I had my head?
Since that happy day (now without any sarcasm swear) I had the most exceptional wedding planning experience on Como lake.
The venue Villa Cipressi is amazing and when I say amazing I really mean it. The staff helpfull.
Varenna ,the little village of this venue, is a gem embedded between mountains and lake
The weather has been lovely and warm (that's strange for real for being October)
And I worked with a sweet bride so organised and motivated. Thanks to her this wedding has been a lovely intimate event full of joy and full of little cute details we worked on together and some she worked out herself.

How could we did all this? trusting each other basically and having high expectiations on this wedding , both me and the bride.
We worked really hard. She woke up several times at 6 am just to stay with me at the phone when for me was lunch time (thanks dear), she studied a lot the design with me and had faith in me. I asked to the most amazing suppliers to come with me, some from Florence some from the surroundings .
I followed everyone carefully (pedantic? boring? asphyxiating? yes my suppliers I know I've been all these ok ..)
