Why?
Good morning and good Monday to you all! As I've told you yesterday I must apologize with everyone for my absence from this blog but ..you know..there are times in life when you have to stop and just finish the commitments that you have with complete concentration and to do this you have to think only about that job untill you have finished it in the best way and on time. I thank everyone who have written me during these days asking me if I was ok ..and I have to thank most of all Grazia who called me because she was worried for me..thanks honey! :-D the organization of the bridal shower is continuing and lots of new stilists contacted me to partecipate to this event, I have recruited severals collaborators of mine who will be present at the show with me..so I'm happy that everything is going in the right way, I'll keep you informed with all the news!
Now..:-)..I have so many things to say to you, but I think it's better if I answer to some of the hundreds of questions that you are sending me everyday..it has passed so much time since my last Faqs entry..so here you are:
- Is your job of wedding planner remunerative?
ohi ohi..:-D we begin immediately with the hardest question of all ;-), well...to tell you the truth is not much more remunerative than other jobs, or at least it's not remunerative at the low level of my little little agency :-P, even if I must admit that there are times when I'm really satisfied of what I've achieved and with my earnigns and other times ..let's call then "dark times" when there are less commissions and it's hard to carry on. But this is true for every kind of job I guess. For sure I cannot say that yu can begin the wedding planning activity and immediately you'll have your pocket full of money, you have to work seriously, with passion and with much costance even is when you think that you are going nowhere. Just be patiente and all the rewards will come to you if have been professional and persevering. :-) It takes time for sure, but yur satisfactions will come dears!
- How much is the right price for the bride make-up?
Well.."right" is a strange word for me, because it depends of what and expecially "how much" you think is "right" and "enough". Some brides-to-be give lot of importance to the make-up factor and someone doesn't and prefers to do it by herself or to make it done by her best friend. Generally a professionist goes from 100,00 up to 350,00 euro for the make-up and one test session really depending much from the "name" of the make-up artist. If he/she is a well known pro for sure it will be very expencive to have him/her at your disposal.
There are lots of professionist serious and of great quality who can help you with a perfect service and with a really honest price. Just have a look around you and do not stop to the first estitamed cost you receive.

- How much time before we have to be in Florence to do all the papers to get married? (from an Us couple)
One of the most common mistake of the foreigner couples is to book everything (flight and hotel ) before knowing this really important thing, so..I have to thank this very clever couple who wants to be sure to do everything in the best way possible! Honey you don't have to be here a couple of months before for sure but a week before could be the right period of time but it really depends on the appointments scheduled that your wp organize for you. There aren't so many documents to prepare but the big problem is that the american embassy is open to appointments only tow days weekly and that's really the main problem. Usually I try to book all the appointments in the same morning so that..yes a very tiring morning indeed! ..but in that way I won't take too much time from your holiday! But please..an advise..ask always to your wp before booking all the other services of the holiday , she can help you organizing your trip in the best way possible.
- How do we create a wedding budget?
uhhmm..usually the options are: you have a maximum amount to spend on your event and you have to split it among all the aspects (and you have to know well which are all the various aspects of a wedding) trying to spread it in the best way possible. Otherwise you don't know right now the total amount of your budget and in that case it's better if you take the list of all the services for your wedding and try to give each one of them a max price starting from a low price and then changing all the services you think deserve a higher budget.
Ask for several estimated costs and not only from the most famous professionists that you know but also from new pros on the market and even foreigners, the quality is high and the price maybe less :-).
;-) but if I have to tell you the truth..why don't you just ask to a wp to help you in this difficult aspects of the organization? I know for sure that no one of my collegues nor me has never eaten anyone ;-)..
