:-p dai su non iniziamo subito con i rimproveri da assenza per favore..ufff..Domenica ho un matrimonio e come sempre le ultime cose dell'ultimo "secondo" neanche minuto, assillano ..:-D però tutto sta' materializzandosi al meglio quindi sono contenta.
Voi come state? Come avete passato le vacanze se ne avete fatte? poi con calma mi faccio un giro da tutti per mandarvi bacino e saluto prometto.
Bene iniziamo subito con le mie solite avventure, io pensavo che staccare (mahh..diciamo così vahh) qualche giorno mi avrebbe liberato dalle famose e immancabili "le scene di Magnolia" :-p...tzeeeeèè ma che ci volevo credere sul serio? maiiii.
beh in realtà una cosa è successa prima di partire e l'altra dopo partita.Uhmmm quindi ...per come la vedo io...mi sembra che tutto sia tornato esattamente come era.
Pochi giorni prima di partire :

Morale "mai pensare di essere ganza uhmmm"
Come sempre vi chiedo di immaginare la scena : appuntamento importante con una coppia di italiani che non vivono a Firenze ma che si vorrebbero sposare qui prossimo anno.
Ok ..tutto sotto controllo.
Appuntamento alle 18.30 presso l'ufficio di un loro amico.
Io..per la prima volta udite udite...con completino giacca e gonna al ginocchio grigio perla con tacco 10 nero e borsa in tinta. Per chi mi conosce...bohh forse non mi avrebbe riconosciuto.
Arrivo bella spavalda, tranquilla

uhmm sì ecco appunto : non era possibile. Soprattutto la parte dell'eleganza. Insomma per farla breve mentre mi sedevo , non ho calcolato bene le distanze e le misure...e pafff sono molto poco elegantemente scivolata per terra con tanto di gambe all'aria.
Ma uffffffaaaa...per una volta che volevo far finta di sentirmi un po' Jennifer buahhhhhh.

buuhhhhhh how are you darlings? hope fine and that your summer has been relaxing.
:-P oh come on..don't start to grumble me for my long absence..ufff..on Sunday I have a wedding and, as always, there are hundreds of things to finish during the last days... :-) but I have to admit that everything is going perfectly so I'm tired but extremely satisfied.
how are you dears? Have you already restarted your works? Later I'll come to visit you to leave a big hug promise.
Well let's begin immediately with my usual adventures , I thought at the beginning of the summer that maybe few days of holidays would have been a good solution to all my innatural and weird and usaul "Magnolia situations" but tzèè.. :-P bahh naaaaa they weren't a all. Something happened before the holidays and something after... uhmmm in my opinion that means that nothing has changed bleahhh.
Ok..this is something happened few days before holidays:

As ever I ask you to imagine the scene : an important appointment with an italian couple who wish to get married in Florence next year.
Ok ..everything undercontrol.
Meeting at 18.30 in a friend of them office.
Me...for the first time ever ...in a pearl grey suit with knee long skirt ,black stilettos and coordinated purse. For those who knows me...bohhh you would never recognized me believe me.
I arrive with a good dose of self confidence and my elegant suit.
I open the door.
I greet the couple.
Big smiles and holding hands.
"Please Silvia sit down, would you like a cup of coffee?"
" No thanks Maria,I'm ok . So how can I heeeeeeeeeeeeee...."
:-I what happened?
Step back...have I told you that I had to sit down on ths kind of simil chair-armchairs-big bag? no haven't I?


In your opinion do you really think that with my elegant and sofisticated suit I could sat down properly like a normal person avoiding weird situation? Eh?
Uhmmm yes ok I know..It wasn't possible. Expecially trying to keep the "elegant" style was really impossible, so to be brief..I sit down and zaaaaaccc..I just flip head over heels :-(.
buuuuaahhhh for once that I was trying to be as glamouros as Jennifer Lopez (ok just a little bit)..bleahhh
And I'll tell you the other thing happened next time...I don't want you to run out of laugh all at once :-P

A Thousand Joys & a thousand questions :-D

ok lo so..:-P la foto fa schifo..sfocata e non si capisce niente..uffff...ma insomma ve l'avevo detto no che non sono una provetta fotografa e soprattutto che non ho avuto abbastanza tempo da dedicare.
Oggi visto che è un giorno di relax praticamente per tutti e miracolosamente anche per me :-) vorrei iniziare a fare una veloce carrellata delle espositrici che hanno partecipato alla fiera di domenica scorsa così le ringrazio ad una ad una come si deve :-D
ehrmm in ordine rigorosamente alfabetico, inizio oggi con la dolcissima Joy che è la creatrice di A Thousand Joys , un'attività handmade dove crea fantastici gioielli in argento di linee così delicate ed eteree che fanno sognare solo a guardarle.
Io devo ringraziare Joy in particolar modo perchè era forse una tra quelle ragazze più insicure sulla fiera, non per la fiera in se' per se' ma per la paura di non vendere. Quello che mi rende più felice che la fiera le ha permesso di sciogliere un blocco e di avere più fiducia nel suo talento perchè la meravigliosa Joy..ha venduto e anche molto! :-D ahhh sono così contenta! Visto Joy? sii positiva e le cose positive ti accadranno sempre più spesso! E scusa tesoro per l'errore nel tuo nome :-(...;-) sei che non mi posso lamentare con il "tipografo" :-D.

Il fatto che poi Joy mi è stata tanto utile perchè ha creato dei meravigliosi gioielli per delle damigelle..:-D questa è un'altra storia!

ok I know this photo is awful :-P out of focus and nothing is clear enough to be seen properly..uff..I've told you that I'm not a good photographer ;-) and that I didn't have enough time during the fair.
For the fact that today it's a relaxing day for most of us and once in a while even for me :-) I would like to begin a series of posts dedicated to all my "girls" meaning the exhibitors to thank them the best way possible for being sooo helpfull and so kind and for making that day soooo special!
ehrmm..strictly in alphabetical order..I begin with the sweetest perons I've ever met in my life, Joy the owner and creator of A Thousand Joys an incredible little shop of stilish and classy silver jewelleries.
I have to thank in particular Joy because she was among the girls more insecure about the fair and not for the fair in itslef but because of the major fear of not selling. And I'm soooo happy that Joy has realised during that event that her creations are fantastic and so admired by everyone, in fact she has sold some pieces and moreover the "positive thinking" effects :-) has begun to be seen also on her etsy shop and in her life in general..honey you just had to believe more in yourself and in your talent!
And :-( i'm so sorry darling for the mistake on your name...:-P you know I couldn't complained a lot with the typist ;-)

The fact that moreover Joy has help me with some nice little gifts for bridesmaids is completely another story that I'll tell later on :-)

e tra una meraviglia e l'altra approfitto per rispondere dopo molto tempo (scusssassssssero tanto :-D) ad alcune domande che mi sono state fatte via email e Skype
1 - Ma allora non organizzi solo matrimoni? Allora potresti occuparti del battesimo del mio bambino?
Ecco questo dopo tutto è uno degli effetti positivi della fiera per me..far conoscere Magnolia come organizzatrice in genere di altri eventi , da dire che i matrimoni sono e rimarranno sempre la mia più grande passione però...:-) certo tesoro che sì e anche con grande piacere..i battesimi sono sempre una grande gioia da organizzare!
2 - Quanto tempo prima devo iniziare ad organizzare il mio matrimonio?
Beh tesoro dipende dalle tue necessità in realtà. C'è chi inizia secondo me anche troppo presto con più di un anno di anticipo (eccetto chi sta all'estero e quindi ha bisogno ovviamente di più tempo perchè le decisioni vengono prese con più lentezza) e io personalmente quando mi viene chiesto da una coppia italiana di assisterli con l'organizzazione di un matrimonio che si terrà in primavera del 2011 (:-P ohhhh) io , forse passerò per la strana, ma dico alla coppia di tornare da me a primavera del 2010 perchè così tanto tempo non ha senso per la preparazione di un evento. Sapete la cosa stupida ma vera che mi viene sempre in mente qual'è .." per allora potrei essere anche morta!"..oh lo so..scusate è una cosa proprio stupida da pensare, ma veramente in due anni potrebbero succedere talmente tante cose! dalle più importanti alle più superficiali, ma una coppia perderebbe secondo me tanti soldi iniziando troppo presto. La cosa migliore è che mi chiamiate e valutiamo insieme quando è giusto iniziare.

1 - So you don't organize only weddings? Can you organize my son's baptism reception ?
One of the best thing of having organised this fair for me is that someone has realised that I am an "event" planner in general, of course I do adore weddings and they are my passion, but for sure I can organize your son's baptism darling :-) no problem and it will be a great joy for me
2 - How much time before I have to start organizing my wedding?
Well darling it really depends on your necessities to tell you the truth. There are some couples that on my opinion begin even too early meaning more a year before and it's completely useless (except of course those living abroad that need more time for every single decisions for the distance ). Personally ,when a couple asks me to assist them for a wedding on spring 2011 (:-P ohhhhh) I , and maybe here I do the "your are completely stupid " figure, but usually say "please contact me on spring 2010" now it's really too early and could be a waist of money for you. you know...one thing that always comes up to my mind (I must admit a weird and silly thing but it comes naturally) is to think " well I can be death for that time!.." I know :-P I know...it's silly..but it's the truth..so many important and stupid things can happen during 2 years!
The best thing dear is that you call me and we can discuss together when it's the perfect time to start :-)


3 - Quanto costano i cake topper che vengono dall'America tipo quelli umoristici?
Dipende ma guarda più o meno tra una cosa e l'altra si aggirano tutti dai 40 Euro ai 80 euro a seconda di quanto sono anche richiesti. Se hai bisogno di un listino indicativo basta che mi mandi una richiesta via email e cerco di riassumerti i prezzi di quelli più richiesti o di quello che interessa a te :-).
4- E' davvero così difficile progettare un budget?
no per niente tesoro è solo una cosa da fare con calma e con tanta pazienza, ma figurati..di difficile non esiste niente, solo mettere la testa in quello che si fa'. Un consiglio però mi permetto di dartelo..se sei affiancata da una mia collega sicuramente ti saprà dare le giuste indicazioni per pianificare i costi, ma se lo fate da soli..ti prego per qualsiasi voce studia attentamente quanto ti interessa sul serio spenderci soldi o cercare invece di risparmiare un po' . Io sono sempre molto chiara..se una coppia riesce a risparmiare qualcosa sulle bomboniere non è assolutamente vero che poi i soldi risparmiati vengano messi via..solo vengono spesi in altro modo..ma se quel modo è per esempio concedervi una bella cenetta romantica in più durante il viaggio di nozze , allora quello vorrebbe dire un lavoro ben fatto per me no? Ci sono tanti modi per ottenere belle cose e non spendere un capitale..però dovete avere pazienza e dedicarci un po' di tempo altrimenti fareste l'errore di buttarvi sulla prima scelta che non è quasi mai quella più adatta.
:-D insomma la wp a qualcosa serve no? date a lei il compito di "lavorare" duramente per rendere il vostro matrimonio uno "wow" dall'inizio alla fine senza un "buuuuuhhh" dopo aver visto il portafoglio ;-)

3 - Which are the prices of the cake toppers?
the avarege price goes from 40 euros up to 80 euros depending also on how much they are requested on the market. If you need a price list I can send you an email with the most sold ones and their prices or the price of only the one that you like..just drop me an email request darling :-)
4 - Is it truly so difficult to plan a budget?
no darling of course no! There is nothing so complicated that you can't do with a bit of calm and patience. don't worry darling! But I take the chance to give you an advice..if you are followed by a collegue of mine ok she/he will do a good job planning all the expenceses in the right way, but if you're doing this job alone, please try to take your time to do it ..it's a job that has to be done with calm and with your minds concentraded and clear . try to study all the voices one by one figuring how much you really wish to spend on that thing and wondering always if it's worthy or not. maybe on some things you can try to save money to use it in another way. I'm always clear and direct with my couples : if you save money for example on "favors" it doesn't necesserly means that that saved money will be but on your retirment found!..it will be used for something else..but if that "something else" can be maybe one more romantic nice dinner during your honeymoon.. :-D so that will be a well done job for me! There are some many ways to have fantastic things for your weddings having a "wow" factor from a to z without a " ohhhhh my!" looking at your pockets :-D


5 - Mi fai vedere qualche idea di biscotti da poter regalare per il mio matrimonio estivo?

:-D Buongiorno tesori come state? Qui giornate gioiose di sole e mooooolto caldo, insomma tutto ad un tratto è arrivata l'estate invece che la primavera.
Domani mattina verrà pubblicato il programma ufficiale dell' HANDMADE Weddings & Life con la lista di espositori , così chi avrà modo di visitarci ed è interessato ad una particolare dimostrazione saprà anche gli orari che :-P cercheremo di rispettare al secondo per quanto ci sarà possibile :-).
Tale programma sarebbe stato anche disponibile stamani...:-D ma come sempre succede nel mio lavoro da un secondo all'altro ti capitano altri mille piccoli ma delicati lavori per le mie coppiette , :-D quindi ieri ho passato praticamente tutto il giorno a confezionare altre scatoline porta confetti facendo con le mie manine anche i piccoli bigliettini con i nomi e la data.
Inutile dirvi dove ho ritrovato il tulle rosa :-P...lasciamo stare vahh che ci faccio brutta figura :-D
Sono operazioni facili per le scatoline però per chi si cimenta a fare da sola :

1° ci vuole spazio :-D ahhhhh ne sa' qualcosa mio marito...non ha potuto mangiare sul tavolo in cucina per un paio di giorni
2° ci vuole pazienza e non avere fretta
3° un po' di fantasia per rendere un anonimo bigliettino in qualcosa di più personale sono con delle idee piccole , semplici ed economiche.
Tipo..prendete un rocchetto di filo per cucire del colore che preferite in tono con il vostro matrimonio e legatelo stretto attorno alla piegatura del biglietto poi sotto infilate una perlina (che trovate anche nei mercatini a pochissimi centesimi il pacchetto) e chiudete con un altro nodino. et voilà..niente di supercomplicato ma personalizzato di sicuro :-D
Vi presento oggi un'altra magnifica ragazza che parteciperà con le sue stupende creazioni Domenica prossima , si chiama Sara è americana ed è una gioia per gli occhi e per la mente da quanto è bella e da quanto è simpatica. Il suo negozietto si chiama Bread n' Butter designs e ci porterà queste meraviglie..


E non poteva certo mancare una brava artista come Ania che porterà i suoi quadri e disegni per la gioia di tutti noi e dei nostri occhi! Grazie cara!

:-D Good morning dears! How are you today? Here it's a fantastic sunday full of sun and it's sooo hot that I guess we already are in summer aren't we? :-P
Tomorrow morning there will be published here the official program of the day with the list of exhibitors of HANDMADE Wedings & Life , so those who will come to visit us will know exactly which demostrations there will be held during the afternoon and the exact timetable that we will try with all our effort to follow strictly :-).
This program would have been ready even this morning :-P buuuut , as usually happens in my job from a moment to another there is something urgent and important to do for a couple...so here I am today working on these cute little boxes for almond dragees. I've been preparing the all morning the little cards to add inside with names and wedding date and as my printer is off (:-P uffff) untill tomorrow, I've decided to do everything "handmade" ;-) ...so just a piece of paper cut into other small pieces, a good pen and to decorate it just a sewing thread and some lovely sparkling pink little pearls.:-D and your very personalised tag is done!

:-P just useless to tell you where I have found the pink tulle...naaaahhhhwon't tell :-D
Then needless to say that if you wish to DIY this project there are important things to know:

1° my husband has passed the last two days eating on the sofa because the kitchen table was full of boxes, tulle and so on..poor one
2°be patiente it could be a long job
3° proceed with calm ..don't hurry up..these are not jobs to do in seconds!

Well today I would love to present you another lovely lady who will attend the fair on sunday. Her name is Sara and she is american. She is a joy for eyes and for brain as she is not only gorgeous but also she is really soooo nice and tender! Her little shop is called Bread n' butter designs and is full of these coloured creations..


Another talented girl attending the fair with my enormous pleasure is Ania with her stunning paintings and drawings. Just take a look at this...don't you agree with me that she is super? :-D

Una idea - An idea

Ok...oggi è uno di quei giorni in cui mi sento particolarmente creativa...mahhh..dai si fa per dire :-D e mi cimento in tante cose. Chiaramente ora sono a pensare a cosa sia meglio organizzare come dimostrazioni per la fiera handmade...anche se poi le cose che farò vedere più che altro sono diy e non handmade , cioè da fare da soli e non comprate fatte a mano, ma dai è giusto così.
mi serve un consiglio però dai miei amicibloggers , soprattutto quelle ragazze che hanno bisogno di questo genere di idee...capisciammè ;-).
Se faccio dimostrazioni per creare alcune idee di piccoli favori (e altri tipi chiaramente) come questi fatti interamente con le mie manine e con pochi euro...:-D è utile?



An idea

Ok today is one of those days when I feel more creative than the usual..mahh..ok it's only to say :-D and I try to venture myself into several ideas. Of course right now I'm focused on the fair and what is better to organize as demostrations.
So..I need an advice from my bloggerfriends, expecially from those girls who are particular interested in these demostrations...howknowwhatImean ;-)
If I prepare a demostration to teach how to create these kind of easy and little favors (and other types of courste) 100% handmade and sooo cheap...:-D will it be usefull?

Finalmente la chat room funziona! non mi chiedete cosa aveva perchè proprio non lo so', ma per una volta non voglio neanche indagare..basta che funzioni!
Era solo per dirvi questo e per augurarvi una buona domenica! Io? ..uhmm..alle prese con dei piccoli progettini Diy ;-) poi svelerò l'arcano mistero .
Per adesso però volevo farvi vedere un'idea che ho trovato su Brides un sito veramente meraviglioso dove trovare tante idee.
Cosa vi ho sempre detto io? che i favor da far trovare agli ospiti non devono necessariamente costare un occhio della testa, ma possono essere anche cibo che sicuramente soddisferà tutti i vostri ospiti
A chi non piace la cioccolata? o non ha qualcuno a casa a piaccia la cioccolata?
:-D e allora fate una grande sopresa ai vostri ospiti..fate trovare loro delle belle bottigline di latte al cioccolato e una confezione di biscotti da gustare al loro rientro a casa pensando alla bella giornata che hanno passato con voi. Un bel fiocchetto..un bel vostro monogramma stampato su un'etichetta da attaccare velocemente e semplicemente alla bottiglia...:-D e il gioco è fatto!

Terzo..oh mamma quanto mi diverte fare queste cose! :-D

Spiego :-D..sono stata sommersa di email per sapere.."sì ok facciamo da noi la bomboniera..ma quanto può costare farla da soli?" ..:-P avete ragione, mi ero completamente dimenticata di mettere un po' di prezzi e quale migliore occasione di fare alcuni esempi per far capire meglio quanto si può risparmiare "facendo da soli"?

ehrmm..ora cercate di essere clementi con me..perchè veramente queste sono solo delle prove fatte con le mie manine (sì sì rispondo subito alla domanda..faccio anche le bomboniere),ma partiamo dalla cosa meno costosa in assoluto..una bella scatolina, un semplice nastrino e un fiore.

Attenzione gli accostamenti di colore erano stati scelti in base al tema cromatico del matrimonio in questione, ma voi potete sbizzarrirvi con qualsiasi colore preferiate e qualsiasi forma e grandezza della scatolina...i prezzi variano di pochissimo.

Vediamo..questa tra confetti, scatolina, nastrino , fiore e tulle dentro per i confetti..ci aggiriamo intorno ai 0,60-0,70 €. :-D insomma dai mi sembra un giusto prezzo per un piccolo e semplice pensierino per gli ospiti no?..ovvio c'è da aggiungere il talloncino con i nomi degli sposi, ma stiamo parlando di pochi centesimi

Poi..passiamo a qualcosa di più costoso..insomma si fa per dire...qui siamo ad una scatolina che è anche più semplice della precedente, ma quello che costa un po' di più è il fiore (più elaborato) e il nastro sia più lungo che più "prezioso". Diciamo che in totale andiamo sui 0.90-1.00 €. Considerate che la scatolina bianca è costata meno di quella arancio e che il fiore rosa è solo una parte di un mazzetto più grande.

E poi abbiamo un sacchettino che si aggira attorno ai 1.50-1.60 € perchè la bustina di organza costa un pochino di più rispetto alla scatolina. Però...dai sono prezzi sempre molto buoni direi.

Sono semplici da preparare, carine (:-P spero) da vedere e amiche del vostro budget..almeno oltre che un gioco prepararle sarà una grande soddisfazione dire.." le ho fatte io!" :-D

DIY - The famous do it yourself

First - these are some scraps of one of my btb, the choosen one is kept secret because part of the guests read my blog :-)

Second they are quick proof just to make her realize what she could do with a Diy favor..so they are not perfect in every detail

Last - oh my..how much I enjoy doing these things!

I explain :-D..I was sommersed by lots of emails since the last post of favors because some of you told me.."yes ok a diy favor but..how much can it cost?"..:-P you are right , I completely forgot to put some prices to make you understand how much you can save from the budget..:-P sorry! So now I'll show some Diy favor with the prices to make you realise how really truly affordable they are!

ehrmmm..try to be good to me, these were really some proof and I've done them soooo quickly! but let's begin with the cheaper one.. a cute little box with a normal tiny ribbon and a little flower.

The total cost of this simple favor is including almond bonbon inside, around 0.60-0.70 €. The colours were choosen from the palette of the wedding theme, but you can choose whatever colour you prefer and choose the bigger or smaller box or a differ shap one. The price does not change a lot.

The second one is a little more expencive..but just a little bit, not depending on the box because to tell you the truth this white box is even cheaper than the orange one, but because of the more complicated flower choosen and the more "precious" ribbon used, but we are still talking of a total cost of around 0.90-1.00 €. So anyway a real good price!

And the last one, which is the more expencive one..well "expencive" compared to the other two :-)..the little red sachet is more expencive compared to a paper box, but the price goes from 1.50-1.60 € , yes a little more, but still a good price isn't it?

They are so easy to do and you'll be so satisfy of yourself and so proud to say to all your guests "I have done all the favors by myself!" :-D

5° Episodio Le bomboniere - 5° Episode - Favors

Ehhh..non mi son dimenticata del piano budget!! che pensavate ? :-D un pochino di pazienza ed eccomi a voi.

Bene bene..oggi parliamo dell'amore/odio per le famigerate bomboniere. Amore perchè tutte le coppie vorrebbero farle (anche se all'inizio dicono " no noooo noi no"..tzèè..poi quando arrivano al dunque dispiace sempre non fare almeno un piccolo ricordo, sicuramente più per il proprio piacere che per far contenti gli ospiti. Odio perchè quando si arriva a decidere..sì ok bomboniere..ma quali? lì..:-P cascano in molti.

Colpa della grande varietà offerta, ma anche del budget e dalla voglia di fare qualcosa di "diverso".

In Italia si inizia ora ad apprezzare qualche regalo diverso dalle solite cornicette di alabastro e dall'oggetino in cristallo. Meno male che adesso vedo molte marmellate, vedo molti cioccolatini, vedo dei bei biscotti e anche delle belle candele. Meno male. Poi c'è chi sceglie di fare una scatolina piena di confetti o cioccolata, o sacchettini di qualsiasi genere.

Poi c'è chi sceglie di non fare niente..o meglio di fare beneficienza e dare solo un attestato a tutti gli ospiti, è molto bello anche se io preferisco consigliare gli sposti di far trovare almeno un confettino con un piccolo fiocchetto comunque sul posto tavola ..però sono scelte personali.

Quanto costa una bomboniera? Beh..non poco..si parte (parlo della mia zona ma più o meno..) da un minimo di 2.50 euro per un sacchettino con confetti, nastrino e fiorellino ad un massimo di...mahh..veramente un massimo non esiste perchè dipende dall'oggetto che scegliete di mettere (tipo un oggetto della Thun costa già di per se' dai 5-6 euro in sù aggiungete il sacchettino...non parliamo di Svarowsky poi o altro del genere), ma ci sono alcuni modio di risparmiare qualcosina :-D

- Cercate di andare nei grandi centri di bomboniere che hanno di sicuro dei prezzi più vantaggiosi rispetto al piccolo negozio, anche solo per i quantitativi che lavorano

- Chiedete se nel negozio hanno degli sconti di fine serie e qualche offerta particolare, cercate di tornare anche più volte nello stesso negozio perchè le offerte possono variare di settimana in settimana

- Lo so..è bellissimo avere la scatolina personalizzata..ma "personalizzare" vuol dire spendere un pochino di più...magari non tanto ma..

- Scegliere il fai da te' è sicuramente un buon modo di risparmiare, non importa quanta manualità avete , ci sono tante soluzione che non richiedono particolari pregi creativi

e poi..cercate cercate e cercate qualsiasi idea..anche all'Ikea trovate tante piccole cose che possono diventare un bel regalino.

Un consiglio ..oggi come oggi io consiglio sempre di pensare ad una bomboniera edibile..cioè qualche cioccolatino, dei bei biscotti, una bella marmellatina particolare o fatta in casa..insomma basta dare spazio alla fantasia.

le scatoline..sono state accantonate per tanto tempo, ora sono di nuovo di gran moda e a me piacciono molto!

al limite potete fare da soli le etichette personalizzate se avete un pc o farle fare al tipografo per pochi euro

dei bei biscottoni..per risparmiare dovreste essere capaci di farli da soli o avere qualcuno che li fa' in famiglia, altrimenti in pasticceria un po' costicchiano..

un bel cioccolatino in una semplice cartina trasparente..buono :-P

oppure delle belle candeline come queste che sono proprio carine

o la classica tortina nuziale/candela

insomma c'è da divertirsi nella scelta! :-D

5° Episode - Favors

Ehhh..I haven't forgotten of our episodes for the "budget wedding"! :-D just a little time to organize myself and here I am! Well..today we talk about the loved/hated favors. Love because even if a couple tell me at the beginning of the organization "no noooo not for us..what a waiste of money"..:-P at the end they chose anyway to give a little present to their guests, not surely for the pleasure of the guests but primary to their own pleasure. Hate because when the decision is have to be taken..yes a favor but which one?..it's not easy! too many choices, too many ideas and there is the important budget problem as well. And the wish to give something really "different".

In Italy lately there a little change in the kind of object to add to the sachet or the box..no horrible frame anymore..no horrible little crystal usless animal anymore..luckly. Now the couple prefers a good edible favor like chocolate or a good marmalade or a nice cookie, or a nice candle is preffered. Luckly.

Boxes full of almond bonbon or chocolates or little sachets full of bonbon and petals are making the spots nowdays.

Someone chooses to avoid any material favor and decides to donate something to charities giving to guests a little certificate. Well...a really good thing, but I alwasy advise to give even a little almond bonbon in a tiny sachet to the guests...anyway this is a personal choice.

how much is a favor? good question!..it depends on the object you wish to add to the box or sachet or even if you wish to add anything. In a normal favor shop the minimun price (talking of my region) for a normal sachet with a little ribbon some bonbon and a little flower goes from 2.50 euro up to..well there isn't a max it really depends on the object (for a Thun little object you have to add 2.50 to 5-6 euro for the object), but there are some tips to save some money out of the favor budget

-Try to visit big favors retailers , for sure they have a little cheaper price compare to the normal little favor shop

- Ask to the shop assistant if they have some special bargain for end of series or some special offer

- Visit the shop once for several weeks 'cause offers can change from week to week

- I know..it's amazing to have your box personalized but the "personalization" cost a little bit more than a plain box or ribbon or whatever

- choosing the famous DIY is for sure a big way to save budget and you don't have to have particulare artistic skills, there are plenty of favors really nice and really really easy to "build"

and then..look look everywhere for an idea..even at the nearer Ikea store you can find some really good idea and object.

On my opinion for sure the edible favor is for sure the best choice , a good cookie, a good chocolate bar or a unique homemade jam..just free your creativity :-D
