Le scelte fatte con il cuore - Choices taken with your heart

Sono da sempre, da quando ho iniziato questo lavoro, alla ricerca di cose belle,diverse e piene di anima da poter proporre alle mie sposine. Vi dico la verità il più delle volte si casca sempre sulle solite cose (bellissime per carità!) forse che c'è anche molta paura che le novità o le cose un po' diverse non piacciano. Io non mi lamento..seguo le indicazioni che mi danno gli sposi e il mio fine è quello di vederli contenti e felici delle loro scelte e quando so che si stanno divertendo ad organizzare il loro matrimonio allora vuol dire che sto' facendo bene il mio lavoro.

E cammino a 10 cm da terra.

Ma non smetto mai di continuare a dirvi che il vostro matrimonio è solo l'inizio del vostro cammino insieme e non abbiate paura di scegliere qualcosa di un più particolare per il vostro giorno più bello...sarete ammirati e sicuramente ci sarà qualcuno che storcerà il naso (tutta invidia ci avete pensato?) ma dovete essere contenti voi.

Ho da poco conosciuto una ragazza molto carina e molto simpatica , che poi vi presenterò meglio nel tempo , che mi ha confessato di essersi sposata con un vestito verde...ohhhh.. ti prego hai la mia eterna ammirazione! Brava! e me lo ha detto con talmente tanto orgoglio che son stata tanto felice per lei. E' così che deve iniziare la vostra vita insieme..con tanto ardore , tanta passione e tanto orgoglio per le vostre scelte prese con il cuore.

Non lasciatevi influenzare dalle voci esterne..lo so è difficile soprattutto quando le voci sono i genitori, ma credetemi a loro basterà vedervi felici delle vostre scelte e si convinceranno velocemente che qualcosiasi cosa abbiate scelto è la cosa più giusta per voi.

I've always been , since the beginning of my job as wp, looking and studying for new, innovative and full of soul solutions for my brides. I must tell you the truth, most of the times a couple choose the same old and secure (beautiful of course!) things maybe because there is also a huge fear of trying something different for once in life and especially for that day. Scared that those different things won't be appreciated by the others.

I don't blame anyone and don't compain..never. I just follow the tastes of my spouses and I try to do my best to satisfy them and make them happy. Knowing that they are enjoying organizing their wedding is the most precious and important thing for me because it means that I'm doing well my job.

And I start to walk at 10 cms above the floor.

But i never stop to tell you that your wedding is only the beginning of your life together so don't be afraid to choose something a little more particular and something a little different for the normal common things..you will be admire and someone will not be satisfied (only envy never tought about it?) but you have to be happy.

I've recently met a nice and kind girl that I'll introduce you better later on, that has told me that her wedding dress was..green!..ohhh...wow..finally I've found someone who dared! Brava! And she has told me that with such satisfaction and proud that I felt so incredibly happy for her. this is the way your life together should begin..with passion , much ardor and full of proud for your choices taken with your heart.

Don't be conditioned by other's judgments ..I know it's really difficult if these "others" are parents but believe me that they will be enormously happy if they can see in your eyes that your choices are really taken with heart and you are happy.

Quindi per non smentirmi ...la troverò una sposina che vorrà darmi retta e vestirsi con queti meravigliosi abiti fatti da una meravigliosa ragazza messicana Aida Coronado? :-D fatevi sotto vi aspetto! osate

I posti segreti - Hidden places

Per molti anni noi fiorentini abbiamo sempre cercato location fuori dalla città per i matrimoni che fossero in campagna, nel Chianti dove avere una bella vista. Per molto tempo tutti hanno cercato queste soluzioni al di fuori della città...e nel frattempo io vedevo Firenze quasi morire...spengersi piano piano.

Quasi come un amante non più coccolata e non più frequentata.

Da sempre frequento il centro storico per lavoro e per piacere e con il passare del tempo vedevo tutto ingrigirsi.
Negli ultimi mesi ho però riscoperto una Firenze che sta' iniziando lentamente a rinascere, a rivivere il suo splendore perchè vedo che le piccole stradine piene di storia dove magari passeggiava Dante pensando a Beatrice, stanno rianimandosi con mille negozietti e sono pulite, ordinate e piene di fiori. Il macellaio che canta a squarciagola Pupo, il risorante che sistema i tavolini fuori con le tovaglie colorate, gli scorci del Duomo o di Palazzo Vecchio che ti incantano da ogni piccolo angolo...insomma Firenze rinasce finalmente.
E' per questo che da un po' sto' cercando di consigliare alcune mie coppie (chiaro quelle che hanno un certo tipo di stile e gusto e che so' che probabilmente mi daranno ragione) invece che di scappare in campagna nel solito castello, di organizzare un bel ricevimento nei bellissimi alberghi storici in centro città. Angoli di paradiso.
Non credereste mai ai meravigliosi giardini che si nascondo dietro facciate austere di palazzi ottocenteschi, ai terrazzi fioriti e curati che trovereste solo entrando in un di questi alberghi che magari da fuori pensereste "anonomi" . C'è un mondo dietro a quelle facciate. Ci sono tanti posti nascosti agli occhi dei più che attendono solo che una bella coppia sfrutti la loro meraviglia.
Faccio un sincero appello alle coppie di Firenze che mi leggono e anche a quelle che vorrebbero sposarsi a Firenze anche se non di qui...credetemi non vi fermate mai all'apparenza.
Questo sì che è un motivo più che valido per dirvi una volta per tutte chiaramente.....contattatemi perchè io muoio dalla voglia di farvi scoprire quegli angoli di paradiso.. vi prego vi prego vi prego.
Toglietevi i paraocchi e lasciate che il sole entri. Lasciate che la vera Firenze vi entri nel cuore.


Hidden places
For many years florentines have lloked for venues for their weddings outside the city, maybe in the country, possibly in Chianti and with a stunning view on the hills. For so much time everyone tried to escape the historic center ..and I was seeing Florence dying slowly day after day.

Like a lover left without any cuddle or any attention.

I've always lived the historic center of Florence both for my private life than for my job and with passing time I was seeing everything around me more and more grey.
During the last months instead I've seen a chancing in those little streets where I walk almost every day, they are slowly come back to life as I can see the birth of several little shops , the butcher outside the shop singing loudly Pupo's songs (a florentine singer from the '80 :-P) , the restaurant's waiters preparing all those little tables outside in the street with cute coloured table cloths, some views of the Duomo and Palazzo Vecchio that really are stunning...so Florence is beginnig again to breath. That's great.
And it' for that reason that I'm advising and trying to push my couples from florence and others that wish to get married here, to choose a venue right in the heart of Florence. (of course this with couples that I know can agree with me for style and situation) . Trying to convince them not to escape in the countryside having all these stunning venue just here so near them in this dreamful city. Let's think of a reception in some little hidden garden of some historic hotel. Little angles of heaven.
You would never believe to the magnificent and stunning gardens and terrace hidden behind those severe facades . Amazing terrace full of flowers that you can find just entering in those historic hotels. There is a world just behind those facades. And those places are waiting for a wedding. Maybe yours.
Now I do a sincere plea to everyone from Florence or that wish to get married in Florence..believe me don't stop to the cover of a book. Open that book.
This is really a great reason for me to ask you all for once truly in my bloglife...please please please call me for your wedding in Florence 'cause I'm dying to show you those little part of heaven.
Take off your blinkers and let the sunshine come in. Let the real Florence enter in your heart.

Piove piove e piove - It's raining raining and raining

Lo sapevo più ci avviciniamo al mio compleanno e più iniziano le pioggie..niente di sorprendente. Mi sono abituata. Nascere in pieno inizio primavera è così. Ma mi va bene..mi sento piena di energia , sapete come quelle piccole fogliette sugli alberi che iniziano a venire fuori con tanta energia..ecco io mi sento dentro quella stessa energia e sono più iperattiva del solito. E chi mi conosce sa quanto lo sono già normalmente :-P.

Grazie a tutti per gli auguri per il blog compleanno! :-D auguro al mio blog altri anni di gioia. Con tutto il cuore.

Ora però torniamo subito a quello che preme un po' tutte le persone che mi leggono per avere un po' di notizie/consigli...le domandone :-P eh sìì tempo di rispondere a qualche altra domanda tra le tante che mi arrivano, speriamo di essere utile a qualcuno in qualche modo :-D


1) Perchè non ti descrivi come "wedding designer"?

:-D grazie tesoro per la domanda! volevo proprio parlarvi di questa descrizione che io evito sempre di usare per me stessa. Io sono una wedding planner e non designer. Cosa vuol dire? che io , in generale, non creo dal nulla un design per il vostro matrimonio. In realtà io studio quello che vedo attorno e ripropongo adattandolo alla coppia , ma non "brevetto" nuove idee. Mi piacerebbe ma non ho proprio tempo. Perchè studiare e creare un design veramente originale è un lavorone e pretendendo da me stessa anche quello toglierei alle mie coppie la tranquillità che io abbia faccia bene il mio lavoro. Troppe cose. Quindi le mie coppie sanno che io non creo ma studio insieme a loro quello che possiamo fare. Prendiamo spunti da praticamente ovunque e personaliziamo...:-D questo faccio io pianifico , organizzo e assisto..creo solo in parte e invento praticamente zero ;-). Tutto chiaro?

2) Può la mia wp aiutarmi per un matrimonio Diy? cioè fai da te'? posso chiederle di aiutarmi?

Cara se la tua wp ragiona come me :-D sicuramente si offende se non le chiedi di aiutarti anche nel Diy. Parla con la tua wp e pensa insieme a lei a cosa ti piacerebbe fare e sviluppare e fatti dare qualche consiglio. Ma credimi che sarà contenta di aiutarti anche manualmente nel fai da te' perchè fa' parte del suo lavoro,della sua passione. A me sembrerebbe di lavorare a metà se mi togliessero questa gioia di fare qualcosa con le mie mani :-D

3)Mi dai un'idea per la tavola di Pasqua..facile ed economica?

;-) sissignore . Ti servono forbici, stoffa colorata circa un pezzetto 30x50 , un nastro , una pallina di polistirolo e un ferretto (anche per l'uncinetto o altro va bene)

step 1: taglia la stoffa a quadratini di circa 4x5

step 2: inizia a incastrare i pezzetti di stoffa sulla pallina con il ferretto

step 3: quando hai fatto la metà superiore fermati e metti il nastro nella parte inferiore

step 4: blocca il nastro nello stesso modo della stoffa e finisci di incastrare la stoffa anche nella parte inferiore

et voilà :-D avrai una bella pallina per decorare la tua tavola.

Io l'ho usata per legare il tovagliolo in due modi diversi , ma tu divertiti come credi! :-D

Costo? Pallina finita : circa 1,50€ ;-)

Se fai delle palline più grosse ti possono essere comode per addobare la tavola o appenderle da qualche parte..lscia solo andare la tua fantasia! :-D


It's raining raining and raining

I was sure when my birthday is approching it begins to rain and rain and rain more and more and more..nothing that surprise me to tell you the truth. I'm used. When your birthday is in early spring it normal that you get used to the rain for your party! But it's ok this way, I feel full of energy. Do you see those little leafs on the trees that are starting to grow and have that great energy..so I feel. Full of that energy inside that wish to erupt. :-P those who knows me , knows really well how much iperactive am I even in normal periods..:-P guess now!

I have to thanks all of you for the wishes for the birthday blog! Thanks a lot! I wish to my blog to live other years full of joy. From the bottom of my heart.

1)Why don't you describe yourself as a "wedding designer"?

wow thanks a lot darling for your question!I've always wanted to explain this point because I think it's an important difference and I always avoid this description for myself. I'm a wedding planner and not a designer. what does it means? That I usually don't create original ideas and designs for my weddings, but I just take a lood and study what surrond me and take from that all my ideas and personalised them for my couples. i'd really love to do that, but I truly don't have enough time. Creating from nothing a new design is a difficult and long process and doing that could mean not to do at my best the rest of my job which is planning, organizing and assisting. I would be untrue to my costumer in that case, as my attention wouldn't be 100% in all my tasks. too many things. Sometimes we have to learn to say "no".

2)Can my wp help me in a DIY wedding project? can I ask her to help me?

My darling :-D if your wp is like me she/he would get offended if you don't! The most amazing part in organizing a wedding is when you can work manually and create something with your couples enjoying time togethere and sharing laughs. This is an important part for me of my weddings. This is a part of me, of my job , of my passion. Don't worry ask her/him and you'll get your help!

3)Can you give me an easy and cheap idea for my easter table?

yes yes :-D you need a pair of scissors, a little square of fabric , like 30x50 cm ,in your preferite color , a ribbon , a small ball of polystyrene and a little knitting needle or something like that.

step 1: cut the fabric in little squares of 4x5 cm about

step 2: embed the pieces of fabric in the ball with the needle starting from the top of the ball

step 3: when you have finished the top part of the ball insert the ribbon from the bottom and embed it to the ball like for the fabric

step 4: finish to embed all the rest of the fabric to complete the bottom of the ball

that's it :-D you'll have a little ball to use however you please. I've used it to decorate the tissue on the plate in a couple of ways. Cost? about 2.00$ . you can create a bigger ball to decorate the table or to hang it above the table or somewhere else..you just have to let your fantasy go! :-D

Oggi mi faccio gli auguri! eh sì oggi il mio blog compie 1 anno. Non ho molto tempo oggi di festeggiarlo come si deve, ma sono felice di non averlo quel tempo visto che sto' lavorando.

Ahh..il concorsino..diciamo che è stata una piccola delusione visto che hanno partecipato solo tre persone. Mahh..:-) va bene così..la prossima volta andrà meglio..vabbè.
Comunque ho deciso per non sbagliare di decretare tutte e tre le persone in questione vincitrici :-D così non si fa del male a nessuno.

Piano piano vi aggiornerò con i loro racconti , se vorranno.

A little announcement

Today I wish myself a joyful day! eh yes today is my blog-birthday! 1 year! I don't have enough time to do parties and to post some interesting thing because I'm working a lot.
but...ALL THE BEST WISHES TO MY DEAR BLOG! and thanks for all the things you have given me and all the friends I've met!

ok anche oggi c'è un sole meraviglioso e ho molto lavoro da sbrigare..:-D sto' pensando a delle ideuzze nuove nuove per dei favor diy, poi vi dirò..ma mi è venuto in mente che a fine mese il mio blog compirà un anno.
