Lunedì ..finalmente! - Monday ...finally!

Come va? :-D ..dopo un weekend di grande lavoro rieccomi qui ad annoiarvi con un le mie chiacchere...
eh già credo di essere tra le poche che anelano ad arrivare al Lunedì :-D ..behh..in realtà siamo in tanti!
Oggi post piccolo piccolo,certo al posto dei miei soliti romanzi direte voi :-P..giusto per dare un consiglio e dirvi l'ultima novità.
Ma parliamo prima di tutto del cosiglio che riguarda le mete estere..molti di voi mi chiedono dove possono sposarsi all'estero e soprattutto qual'è il periodo migliore per andare in alcuni posti. Considerato che l'argomento (sembra strano ma in realtà è così) è molto richiesto, visto che i "destination weddings" (come li chiamano gli inglesi) sono in crescita vertiginosa, inizio a dare qualche meta in base ai mesi migliori per poter trovare il "momento e tempo perfetto". Dato che in questo periodo si inizia l'organizzazione dei matrimoni del periodo di Novembre Dicembre (..beh..insomma..si può fare anche molto più velocemente..:-) ma è sempre un matrimonio quindi fate le cose con calma ,please!)..iniziamo proprio da questi mesi:

NOVEMBRE Australia, Isole Fiji, Hawaii, Maldive, Mauritius, Thailandia (ma anche Egitto, Filippine, Hong Kong, Malaysia occidentale e Sudafrica del sud)

DICEMBRE Australia, Costa Rica, Hawaii, Caraibi, Kenya, Maldive, Sri Lanka, Thailandia (ma anche Filippine, Hong Kong, Malaysia occidentale, Sudafrica del sud)

Se avete bisogno di informazioni su queste mete (anche se io personalmente non curo i matrimoni ovunque nel mondo..sempre per il solito motivo che ho due sole mani..e guai a chi dice "meno male" :-D) per qualche notizia più dettagliata riesco forse ad aiutarvi anche io.
Ora veniamo a noi..:-D..io felice?..nooooooo...perchè?..da cosa si vede? :-P..dopo la grande notizia del matrimonio "come voglio io"..non ci potete credere..è arrivato anche il matrimonio con il cowboy! :-D ahhh..meraviglia!!!
Quindi rispolvero tutte le mie belle idee romantiche e inizio a organizzare un bel matrimonio stile cowboy per il prossimo anno con un vero cowboy americano wow!.Vogliono proprio le cose più cowboy-western che si può..anche esagerando (ma io non lo farò)...e io :-D sono fuori di me dalla felicità..ehrmm...:-I.. certo davanti a loro ho fatto la mia " impassibile e professionale" espressione che non mostra le proprie reazioni..una maschera d'acciaio!
:-D ma vi pare possibile? io?..avevo i lucciconi agli occhi! Sembravo io la sposa! :-) che imbranata che sono! infatti si sono messi a ridere quando hanno visto la mia faccia e mi hanno detto, quando hanno confermato il contratto, che si sono decisi proprio quando hanno visto la mia reazione..quasi fosse la cosa più importante del mondo :-P.
Mi hanno chiesto delle partecipazioni stile western possibilmente con gli stivali texani..ok..queste non sono male..le altre cose nella foto insomma..i cappellini cowboy carini ma completamente inutili..insomma la foto è solo per gli inviti..chiaramente trovati in america.



Poi via via che trovo altre idee le posto e mi dite cosa ne pensate..intanto..
Per la gioia di chi pensa che si possa vivere tranquillamente senza la Martha ma non pensa che io me la sogno anche di notte :-D..
ho trovato finalmente un'idea originale per delle mini tortine monoporzione..ma cosa sono? una meraviglia ecco!

Monday.... finally!

How are you? :-D...after a weekend full of job here I am again here to bore you a little more with my chatters..
yes..I think I am among those few persons who yearn to arrive at Monday..:-D..well..actually we are a lot!
Today a little entry..of course in place of my usual poems you may think :-P...just to give an advice and tell you the last news.
But first of all let's talk about the advice that is on the weddings abroad...lot of you ask me where is the best destination for a wedding and in which month is the perfect moment and weather. Considering that this topic is (even if it's hard to believe) is very request as the "destination wedding" is a phenomenon that has increased a lot in this last period, I begin today to give you some of the best destination depending on the month choosen. Right now I'm beginning to organize weddings abroad for the period of November and December ...well..everything can be organized even faster .-)..but ..attention..it's always a wedding so take your time to plan everything perfectly.

If you need information on these destinations , even if as I've told... you always for the reason that I only have a pair of hands..please don't say "luckly" :-)... I don't organize weddings in every part of the world, anyway I can give you some tip and advice for sure.
Now..:-D..me happy?..nooooo!..why?..How can you think something like this?...:-P after the great news of the wedding "as I want"..now even the wedding with a real cowboy..omg..ahhh..wonderful!
So I take away all the dust on my romantic ideas on a western-cowboy style and I begin to organize a wedding for the next year for a real american cowboy wow! They asked me for the more western things even exaggerating (but I won't) and I'm out of my own control for the big joy..ehrmm..:-I..of course in front of them I did my "professional and impassive" expression that doesn't show any reaction..an mask of steel.
:-D..can you believe it? me?..I had tears in my eyes! I seemed the bride herself! :-) what a duffer I am! They started to laugh and told me that they decided for me, when confirming the contract, because of my reaction..as it was the most important thing on earth for me :-P
They asked me for typical western style invitation stationery possibly with texan boots...ok ..these are not bad..the rest of the objects on the photos not a lot to tell you the truth..even the little hats are cute bue completely useless..so the photo is just for the invitations obviously found in usa.



Then as soon as I find something else I'll post the photo so that you can give me an opinion.
For the joy of everyone of you who think it's possible living without Martha's while I'm even dreaming of her..I've finally found this wonderful solution for little cakes monoportions..just two words "simply stunning"!



news..I've found also this cake..it seems to me a little but too much western :-P (consider that also the boots are a cake!) :-) but if they'll like it..;-)

Un'onda e un premio - A wave and an award

Buongiorno! :-P come avete potuto vedere purtroppo questa settimana ho saltato i matrimoni nel mondo ma il tempo è poco e io ho solo due mani..e c'è chi dice menomale :-D
Un premio perchè?
Perchè tempo fa la mia dolce Occhidigiada mi ha onorato con questo premio (scusa lo so è passato del tempo :-P ) e nel frattempo che cercavo un momento giusto per postarlo..ecco che mi arriva il doppio premio ArteYPico anche dalla energica Brii..insomma due al prezzo di uno :-D. Non so esattamente da quanto è aperto questo blog. Forse 3 mesi ormai. Mi sembra ieri che cercavo di capire come si caricavano le foto..no aspetta..:-) quello era davvero ieri :-D...oh non ce la faccio a stare seria per due minuti?..silvia dai..su...e che cavolo..pensa a tutti i documenti che devi preparare da qui alla fine del mese per le coppie!..oh signur..ecco ora mi viene l'ansia.(ora inizio a parlare con me' dicendo a me' che poi sarei io..ohohooh ma perchè mi incasino così?).mah.insomma...sono stata travolta da un'onda.Uno tzunami di contatti e richieste. Uno tzunami di lavoro.
Non penso di essere la più brava e non voglio esserlo perchè questo vorrebbe dire non avere più niente da imparare invece io sono in continua ricerca..forse non sono neanche la più economica..cerco di essere onesta ma c'è chi riesce ad essere più competitivo..sicuramente non la più famosa :-D per carità con tutti questi fan da tutto il mondo già mi perdo ..come farei anche con i giornalisti :-P scherzo..ma è successo qualcosa.
Il più bel compliemento che io abbia mai ricevuto (apparte quelli di mio marito :-P) mi è stato fatto ieri "perchè sei diversa". Ora sono io a dire WOW.
Mi sento veramente come appena colpita da un'onda. Travolgente ma rinfrescante. Avevo solo bisogno di condividere con voi questa cosa. Ne avevo proprio bisogno.
Vabbè..basta la Silvia seria che mi fa quasi pena...ora :-D che ne dite che queste cosine che ho visto sempre dalla mia santa Martha e in qualche altro sito..per un matrimonio picnic che si terrà a primavera?

An award and an idea


Good morning! ..as you have seen unfortunately this week I quit the wedding around the world beacause the time is not enough and I've got only a pair of hand..and someone may add "luckily" :-D
Why an award?
Because so days ago my sweet Occhidigiada has honoured me with this award (sorry I know it has been long ago..:-P) and while I was looking for the right moment to post this award..a double ArteYPico award arrived form my energetic Brii ..so two at the price of one :-D. Thanks to Brii for her energy and thanks to Occhietti just for being herself..my sweet occhietti.

I don't know exactly from when this blog it's open. Maybe 3 months. It seems yesterday that I didn't even know how to upload a photo..wait a minute..:-) this was really yesterday :-D..oh I just can't be serious for more than a couple of seconds?..come on Silvia..serious now..think of the hundreds of documents that you have to prepare from now 'till the end of the month for your couples..ahhh..now I feel nervous..(.now I start again talking with me ..telling to myself , that anyway it's still me obviuosly it's me..ohhoohh why I get so confused?).shortly..I was trampled by a wave. A tzunami of contats and requests. A tzunami of job.
I don't think I'm the best wp on the market and I don't really want to as that would mean that I won't have anything more to learn instead I'm constantly looking and studying...maybe I'm not the most economic, I'm just honest but I know that there is someone more competitive than me...I'm not even the most famous :-D please no..with all these fans around the world taking my time..how can I handle also with journalist :-P? joking..but something happened.
The most wonderful compliment that I ever received (apart those from my husband :-P) has arrived to me yesterday "becasue you are different". Now it's me the one saying WOW.
I'm feeling just like just hit by a wave. Overwhelming and refreshing. I've just needed to share this with you..I've really needed it.
Ok..now stop with this serious Silvia that only makes me feel sorry for her..now :-D what do you think of these little things I've found out on the site of my saint Martha and in some other sites, for a picnic style wedding for next spring? I , as usual, just can't be pleased with the normal things..no?..noooo..of course..just to give the usual "salt" :-D

Buongiorno miei fiorellini :-D..eh? si vede che sono più di buon umore con il sole?...farà anche caldo ma per me è una gioia vedere luce luce e luce tutto il giorno..mi si ricaricano le pile :-P!
Sono almeno due ore che cerco di scegliere delle domande a cui rispondere..ma qui ragazzi la faccenda si fa sempre più difficile..:-D ce ne sono a tonnellate e sono tutte importanti secondo me..quindi oggi ho lasciato che mio marito scegliesse per me..cuore mio :-)...mahhh...questo è quello che secondo lui è importante sapere..
1) Sono sposata e per il nostro 10° anniversario vorremmo rinnovare i voti, è possibile farlo a Firenze?
Tesoro è possibile ovunque, ma prima di tutto congratulazioni!. Se volete rinnovare i voti con una cerimonia religiosa ci sono un po' di trafile da fare perchè non lo fate nella vostra parrocchia di residenza, altrimenti per una cerimonia simbolica basta che mi fate un'email e si può organizzare nell'arco di poco tempo (sempre in base alla location chiaramente) anche potrebbe essere anche fra una settimana se volete.
2) Perchè non posti mai foto dei matrimoni che organizzi?
Perchè secondo me sono eventi privati e quindi non mi sento autorizzata a mettere foto non di mia proprietà sul mio blog. :-D comunque a qualcuno presto chiederò il permesso e vi mostrerò..sono molto orgogliosa. Comunque il problema non è tanto la privacy loro, quanto l'educazione mia.
3) Perchè si dice "di Venere o di Marte ne' ci si sposa ne' si parte"?
:-D ma che bella domanda!Non avrei mai immaginato che qualcuno mi domandasse una cosa del genere.Allora si dice così perchè Marte (quindi Martedì) è il dio della guerra mentre il Venerdì (quindi Venere) è secondo la cabala il giorno in cui furono creati gli spiriti maligni... insomma giornatacce :-) .Ma non in tutto il mondo è così, in Norvegia quasi tutti i matrimoni vengono celebrati di Venerdì...:-D e poi lo consiglio anche qui ..si spende di meno :-P!
4) Vorrei organizzare qualcosa di molto bello ma ho un budget limitato, come posso fare?
Allora nel tuo caso specifico ho letto le tue esigenze e quello che è il tuo budget e come ti ho risposto si può fare tranquillamente, dammi qualche giorno per organizzare le idee. Per tutti gli altri che si domandano spesso quanto possono spendere per un matrimonio...rispondo in generale (se volete sono disponibile via email per dettagli) che tutto si può fare anche con un budget minimo ma proprio di quelli ridotti all'osso. Questo anche se avete numerosi invitati. Certo :-D se volete il cristallo e lo champagne, la cadillac e le sedie d'oro (:-D ah si fa per dire come mi è venuta in mente sta' cosa delle sedie? ) chiaramente dovrete o rivedere il budget o fare a meno di certe cose. Non rinunciate però a provare ad organizzare qualcosa di veramente bello perchè pensate di non farcela con i soldi..chiedete ad un wp professionista..è proprio questo il nostro lavoro :-D tranquilli!
5) Mi sposo questo inverno e tutti mi sconsigliano i colori che ho scelto per il ricevimento..mi dicono che un matrimonio deve essere elegante e serio..io no.
Cara più che una domanda mi sembra una risposta no?..lo sai come mi chiamavano da piccola (diciamo fino a 20 anni va' :-D ma anche adesso non sono meglio) la signorina "NO". Perchè le cose che pensavano gli altri e mi obbligavano a fare gli altri a mi hanno sempre innervosita...preferisco sbagliare ma aver fatto quello che ritengo più giusto. Non mi hai detto quali sono i colori ma credo che qualsiasi essi siano , come dicevo l'altro giorno, se ti piacciono sono perfetti. Non ti far convincere dagli altri a fare cose che non vuoi o scegliere fiori, colori, addobbi che non ti piacciono..per te sarebbe un funerale non un matrimonio. Ho visto miglioramenti su questi "costringimenti morali", come li chiamo io,quando le coppie sono seguite da me, in quel caso quasi nessuno interferisce...almeno pochissimo :-D...poi eventualmente date la colpa a me..son qui per questo.
6)Vorrei che in Chiesa ci fosse un odore gradevole e fresco ma i fiori che ho scelto non hanno odore, cosa posso usare?
in base alla teoria del matrimonio "sensoriale" cioè della stimolazione dei sensi, un odore molto piacevole e che crea allegria e serenità allo stesso tempo lo danno le foglie di eucalipto. Credimi non sono molto forti come odore ma sono estremamente piacevoli.


E ora si parlava di osare...più metteteci la mia passione per il western = bellissima

I've spent at least a couple of hours looking and deciding which questions should I answer to today..but it's getting stronger and more difficult every week folks..there are tons of them and for me they are all important..so this week I've asked to my husband to choose for me..my sweetheart :-D...this is what for him it's important to know.
1)I'm married and for our 10th anniversary we would love to renew our votes, is it possible doing it in Florence?
Darling it's possible everywhere you wish, but first of all the best for you,congrats! If you would love to renew your votes with a religious ceremony the procedure is a little bit more difficult but just because you wuold do it in a church that is not the one of your residence, otherwise with a symbolic ceremony you have only to send me an email and we can arrange everything in a short period of time (depending obviously from the location) but can be even within a week if you wish so.
2) Why don't you post photos of the weddings you organize?
Because in my opinion they are private events and so I don't feel authorized to post photos which are not mine in my blog :-D however I'll ask soon to someone and I'll show you..:-D I'm really proud. Anyway is not even a problem of their privacy, it's a problem of my good manners.
3)Why someone says "neither on Friday nor on Tuesday you can't leave and you can't get married" (it' s really difficult to translate this thing in english as it's based on the origins of the italian words from latin..anyway..i'll try!
:-D what a wonderful question, I 've never thought to receive this kind of questions. For english speaking persons I have to explain that Friday is "Venerdì" in italian and Tuesday is "Martedì". these two words take their origins from the latin "Venere" that is Venus and "Marte" that is Mars. Mars (so Tuesday) was the war god and on Venerdì (so Friday) the kabala says that all the evil spirits were born....to say very bad days :-D. but not in all the world is true , for example in Norway the majority of the weddings take places on Friday..:-D and I advise to do it even here..it's less expencive!
4)I would love to organize something wonderful but our budget is limited, what can I do?
Well..in your specific case I've read which your needs are and I've seen your budget and, as I've answered you, we can arrange something really great, just give me a couple of days to organize some ideas. For all the others that haves often this problem asking me how much a wedding can cost, I answer you in general (if you need futher details please write me) that it's possible to do everything with a minimum budget. Also if you have several guests. Of course :-D if you want champagne and crystals, cadillac and golden chairs (:-D ahh this is fantastic how it has come to my mind this thing of the chairs? ) you have or to replan your budget or to renounce to those kind of things. But please don't give up to at least trying to have something wonderful for your wedding because you are scared of not having enough money..ask a pro wp..it's just that our mission...:-D relaxed!
5)I'm getting married this winter and everyone advice me against the colours I've choosen for the reception...they tell me that a wedding should be serious and elegant..I don't.
Honey more than a question this sounds to me as an answer isn't it? Do you know how everyone called me when i was a child (well..till 20yo actually and still now I'm not that better) "miss NO" because everything that someone forced me to do or decided in my place it wasn't what I wanted so every time it was a NO for me..better do something wrong but folowing my wishes and what I think is right for me. As I was writing on the last post, please don't let the floral designer, parents, friends or however convince you...it would be your funeral not your wedding hun. You haven't written me the colours that you chose but I'm sure that , if they are what you really like and adore, that are perfect for your wedding.
I've seen great improvements on this problem when a couple is followed by me..they have less pressures from the rest of the family..or at least less :-D..anyway put blame on me ..I'm here for that.
6) I'd love my church too have a good and fresh smell but the flowers I've choosen haven't a smell on their own, what can I use? For the rules of the "sensorial" wedding where all the senses are stimulate, you can use the eucalyptus leaves.Believe it's not such a strong smell but it's relaxing and energetic.

And now..we were talking about daring..plus my passion for the western style = gorgeous

Osare o non osare? - To dare or not to dare?

Eccomi qui! Assenza forzata per motivi di lavoro. :-D fortuna che il tempo è stato bellissimo tutto il weekend! Altrimenti queste sposine si infuriavano davvero. Sono stati tre giorni di assoluto caos e di problemi a non finire..ma la soddisfazione alla fine è sempre grandissima. Come dico sempre il loro più semplice "grazie" alla fine della festa con quegli occhietti pieni di gioia..e magari anche di alchool :-P..mi fa stare bene.
E' stato un piacevole we anche per i contatti per future commissioni e tra una coppia giapponese, una inglese che verrà a sposarsi in Sardegna e una sudafricana..sono stata contenta di essere stata contattata anche da una dolcissima e simpaticissima coppia di italiani che vorrebbero sposarsi a Firenze anche se non residenti qui. Questo è stupendo..non avrei mai pensato che degli italiani avrebbero mai scelto di venire qui a sposarsi invece che restare nella loro città di nascita (o almeno la città di nascita della sposa)..la dice molto lunga questa cosa su come stanno cambiando le abitudini e la società in genere in Italia. Ho sempre pensato che chi decide di non sposarsi a "casa" propria decidesse di uscire proprio dall'Italia (come ho fatto io per esempio)..invece come al solito mi devo ricredere. E quello che più mi ha fatto felice è stato il loro lasciarmi carta bianca per il tema cromatico del matrimonio..io ho proposto :-P sicura che avrebbero rifiutato la mia prima idea (che è sempre in base ai miei gusti) e quindi già con in testa la seconda idea forse più "normale"...:-D ma loro hanno accettato la mia idea...ma vi rendete conto!! ...la prima volta che trovo qualcuno che si "fida e affida" sul serio a me! Incredibile! Ancora più incredibile se si considera l'abbinamento cromatico che ho proposto :-P!
Una delle cose di cui mi sono sempre lamentata..e magari in realtà sono io quella troppo "fuori dagli schemi" come mi ha definita qualcuno..è che in generale le coppie italiane non hanno molto coraggio.
In America lo chiamano "l'effetto WOW" e io sono pienamente daccordo con i nostri fratelli di oltreoceano. Un matrimonio deve essere qualcosa da ricordare..capisco evitare il ridicolo..ma bisogna avere il coraggio di osare qualche volta. E soprattutto mi dispiace vedere una coppia che ha idee e fantasia per poter organizzare un giorno da favola, ma poi per paura di "sconvolgere" le famiglie con colori e realizzazioni troppo...come dire?...TROPPO. :-D semplicemente TROPPO, rinuncia a colori a loro congeniali e preferiti per optare per il solito bianco, il solito rosa antico, il solito lillà...colori stupendi ovviamente, ma se non sono i vostri preferiti..sono solo colori piatti.
Vi posso dare un consiglio? :-) se lo accettate...se il colore o i colori che avete scelto per il vostro matrimonio non sono quelli che veramente adorate, ma sono solo i colori che credete siano i migliori perchè piaceranno a tutti, perchè sono quelli che vedete nelle riviste più in voga, perchè sono quelli che vi hanno suggerito i genitori, i parenti, gli amici, il fioraio o anche la vostra WP, credetemi..sono colori che non trasmetteranno niente ne a voi ne' ai vostri ospiti. Saranno colori anonimi, che non parlano di voi e delle vostre anime e del vostro carattere..e questo porterebbe solo ad un matrimonio "senza sale" come dico io.
Un matrimonio che non sarebbe veramente il VOSTRO matrimonio.
Non abbiate paura. Scegliete liberamente..se avete dubbi e avete bisogno di idee per sfruttare al meglio i colori che vi piacciono..io sono qui. Chiedetemi come fare..ma vi prego..pensateci.
Un esempio? :-D i colori proposti da me a questa fantastica coppietta e quindi per fortuna anche i loro colori preferiti...rosa shocking e verde menta chiaro. Un amore a prima vista :-D

To dare or not to dare?
Here I am! Finally after a forced absence due to my job here I am! :-D luckly the weather has been really good this past weekend otherwise my little brides would have become really angry. I have spent three days of absolout caos full of hundreds of little problems...but the satisfaction at the end is always flattering. As I often say their simplest "thank you" at the end of the day with those sweet little eyes full of joy..:-P and sometimes also of alchool...makes me feel good.
It has been a pleasant we also for some new job contacts that I had, and among a japanese couple, an english couple that will get married in Sardinia and a south african couple..I'm happy to have been contacted also by a nice and lovely italian couple who wishes to get married here in Florence even if it's not their native town (or at least the native town of the bride). This is great...I've never thought that an italian couple would ever consider the idea of getting married in a city in Italy which is not their own ntive city, this tells a lot on how the system,the traditions and the society is changing in Italy. I've always thought that if a couple chooses not to get married in Italy, a place outside Italy could have been the natural choice (as for me for example)..instead I have to change my mind once again. And the the most pleasant fact of this situation is that they left me free choice for the colour theme of their wedding...I've proposed something :-P and being sure that my first idea (that usually it's based on my preferences )would have been refused I was ready with another proposal..let's say more "normal".. :-D instead they have accepted my idea..can you believe it?..it's the first time I find someone who really "trust me and rely me" totally! Unbelievable! Even more unbelievable if you consider the chromatic theme I've choosen :-P!
One of the aspects that I've always complained a lot about..and maybe I am the one "outside of the bounderies" as someone called me once..is that in general italian couples don't have enough courage.
In Usa they called it " the WOW factor" and I completely agree with our overseas's brother. A wedding should be something to remember..I understand trying to avoid the ridiculous things...but we should have the courage to dare sometimes. And especially I'm sorry to see a couple having very good ideas to realize a fantastic wedding,but then being scared of "upsetting" their families with colours and decorations too much...how can I say?...TOO MUCH :-D simply TOO MUCH!, they give up and opt for the usual white, the usual pale pink and the usual violet..wonderful colours obviously..but if they are not your favorite colours..they are only anonyumous colours.
Can I give an advise? :-D if you accept it...if the colour or the colours that you have choosen for your future wedding are not those you really prefer and adore, but they are only the colours that you think will be the perfect choice for the event because everyone will like them, because they are the ones you see in famous magazines, because they are the colours suggested by your parents your families your floral designer or even your WP ..believe me ..they will be only colours that won't give anything to you nor to your guests. They will be anonymous colours, they won't show your personalities and minds..and this will bring to a wedding "without salt" as I call it.
A wedding that wouldn't be YOUR wedding.
Don't be scared. Choose freely..if you have douts or wish to have ideas on how to use your favorite colours in the best way..I'm here. Ask me how to do it...but please..think about it.

Giovedì nel mondo - Thursday around the world

OPA! Chi non si ricorda questo film?

:-D nessuno credo! Penso sia stato uno dei film più divertenti che ho mai visto e per una volta anche mio marito (che di solito ha gusti opposti ai miei) ha apprezzato molto.
Che vi dice questo? ...:-D che si va in Grecia questa settimana...premetto due cose importanti prima: ci sarebbero, come per molte altre nazioni, kilometri e kilometri di pagine da scrivere perchè, fra matrimoni dell'antica grecia e matrimoni della grecia attuale, ci sono centinai di informazioni e curiosità, quindi riassumo e soprattutto evidenzio come sempre le cose che mi sono piaciute e mi hanno colpito di più. Seconda cosa importante...dalla prossima settimana questo appuntamento cambierà la collocazione settimanale quindi di conseguenza anche il titolo. Come già anticipato ieri, dati i miei impegni che si moltiplicano con l'avanzare dell'estate e tutto l'enorme lavoro per il sito in costruzione, il tempo non è meno ma distribuito in modo diverso quindi questa rubrica esisterà ancora ma non per forza di Giovedì. Questo mi permette di studiare le varie mete con più attenzione potendo postare in modo casuale..quindi questa rubrica diventerà "I matrimoni del mondo" ma...:-D ci saranno delle novità..tante idee che mi sono venute per arricchire questa sezione con alcuni spunti per i vostri matrimoni reali ..:-D vedrete e mi direte..tutte le novità saranno sviluppate un po' alla volta.
Veniamo a noi .. i matrimoni tradizionali greci attuali sono per tradizioni e usanze molto simili ai nostri.
Prima di tutto la dote: nell'antica Grecia la dote era pagata dalla famiglia della sposa al futuro sposo (scelto dal padre della ragazza tra i lontani parenti) come in molte altre parti del mondo in denaro. Ma oggi la dote in realtà non è che il nostro caro corredo che tutte le mamme iniziano a preparare fin dalla nascita della figlia, composto da lenzuola, asciugamani, tovaglie e tanto altro. Come dicevamo era il padre della sposa a scegliere il futuro sposo quando la figlia compiva circa 5-6 anni. Il matrimonio avveniva tra i 12 e i 15 anni della ragazza (per essere diciamo sicuri della sua verginità) con un uomo di circa 30 anni (che quindi avesse finito il servizio militare).
Oggi il matrimonio greco è quasi sempre celebrato con rito religioso ortodosso ed è composto anche dalla cerimonia di fidanzamento ufficiale: lo sposo infatti il giorno stesso dell matrimonio, prima della cerimonia, chiede la mano della donna al padre di lei ed avviene lo scambio degli anelli di fidanzamenti (che poi saranno le fedi) denedetti dal prete e messi alla mano sinistra. Al momento della cerimonia con lo scambio dei voti gli sposi cambiano mano agli anelli benedetti nuovamente dal prete. Ma facciamo un passo indietro... la mattina del matrimonio la sposa anticamente faceva (anche in Grecia) il bagno purificatore con dell'acqua che proveniva da una particolare fonte chiamata Callirhoe. Nel frattempo il testimone dello sposo, il Koumbaros, che ha un ruolo molto importante nella cerimonia, va a prendere lo sposo a casa insieme ai musicisti e agli amici e cantando e ballando lo accompagnano alla Chiesa, fuori dalla quale aspetteranno la sposa insieme a tutti gli invitati. Oggigiorno le spose greche prediligono i classici vestiti bianchi anche molto pomposi, ma nell'antichità gli abiti delle spose erano di colori sgargianti per respingere gli spiriti maligni e il velo era giallo o rosso a simboleggiare il fuoco della passione che la legava al futuro marito :-D..che bello il velo come una fiamma!

Durante la cerimonia, dicevamo, il testimone riveste un ruolo molto importante perchè è colui che posa sulla testa degli sposi delle corone o ghirlande dorate o biance o fatte di fiori d'arancio, legate insieme con un nastro di seta, facendole prima girare sulle loro teste per ben 3 volte. Queste corone simboleggiano la nobiltà del matrimonio e gli sposi verranno infatti trattati per tutto il giorno come un re e una regina. Dopo lo scambio degli anelli gli sposi fanno il giro dell'altare sempre 3 volte per suggellare l'unione.

Il ricevimento è una festa allegra e rumorosa piena di canti e balli tradizionali greci durante il quale prima gli sposi ballano il "ballo di Isaiah " da soli e poi insieme con tutti gli invitati in cerchio ballano la Kaslamantiano, durante il quale i piatti vengono rotti per augurare buona fortuna agli sposi..dove bisogna stare attenti a mangiare la tua fetta del tipico pane greco fatto con pasta acida (vi metto un link di un blog dove ho visto la ricetta, scusate è in inglese) perchè i panettieri si divertono a mettere monetine e piccoli anelli dentro l'impasto in modo che porti buona fortuna agli sposi.

Insomma una bella festa piena di cibo di tutti i tipi..come i baklava tipici dolci greci (o comunque di tutto il bacino mediterraneo est) fatti con il miele, oppure come i kuorabiethes che sono praticamente uguali ai biscotti messicani. Anche in Grecia come in Italia esistono i Koufeta cioè i confetti che vengono dati a fine ricevimento.

Due le curiosità oggi :-D...primo: le donne nubili dopo aver ricevuto i confetti alla fine del ricevimento, li mettono sotto il cuscino per poter sognare il loro futuro sposo...ahh..ma funzionerà anche con le sposate? :-D se sognate l'uomo che avete accanto ok..altrimenti..:-P
Secondo ..la sposa nasconde nel guanto una piccola zolletta di zucchero come buon auspicio di una "dolce" vita insieme al suo futuro sposo...:-D

OPA! Who doesn't remeber this movie?


:-D no one I believe. I think it has been one of the funniest movie I've ever seen and for once in his life even my husband ( who has constantly opposite preferences from me) agrees with me.
What is this suggesting you? :-D..that we travel to Greece this week..but I premise before a couple of important things before beginning..first: the things to say about ancient and modern greek weddings are severals and I can write kilometers and kilometers of post today about these weddings, but as ever I'll only highlight what I find curious and amazing. Second important thing is that starting from next week this appoinment with the weddings around the world will change. First of all there won't be a specific day during the week for posting this section so also the title will change into "Weddings of the world"..this is due to my commitments that multiply day after day during the summer and due also the the massive and huge amount of work behind the realization of the website that not taken away me time but I have only to rearrange it. So, free from a fixed weekly schedule, I'll be able to study more and better the next destinations, improving and changing also the contents of the normal post adding new ideas and advices for you real weddings...:-D you'll see and you'll give me your opinion..all the changes will be made slowly from time to time.
So..back to us..the modern greek weddings are regarding traditions and costumes very similar to the italian ones. For of all the dowry: in ancient greek the dowry was paid by the bride's family to the groom (choosen by her father)with money, but nowdays it's only the traditional "corredo" (all the house accessories like tableclothes, sheets, towels and so bought by the mothers from the birth of their daughter ). As we said the groom was choosen by the girl's father among relatives, when she was about 5-6 yo, to get married at the age of 12 up to 15 (to be..let's say sure..of her verginity) with a man of about 30 yo (to be sure he had finished the military sercive).
Today the greek wedding is almost always celebrated with the ortodox religious rite and is composed also by the ufficial engagment request made to the bride's father before the ceremony in front of the priest. The couple exchange the engagment rings (which are the also the wedding rings) blessed by the priest wearing them at the left hand. During the ceremony when the couples says the promises to each other, they exchange again their rings, again blessed by the priest, wearing them this time on the right hand. But let's begin form the start...in the morning in ancient Greek the bride used to have a purifing bath (like in other cultures) with water taken from a specific source called Callihroe. In the meantime the man of honor called Koumbaros, who has an important role during the ceremony, accompaines the groom from his house dancing and singing, to the Church, where they will wait for the bride together with all the guests. Nowdays the brides preferes the classic white dresses but in ancient Greece they wore a bright colorful dress with a yellow or red veil like a fire, which symbolized the passion she felt for her future husband..:-D wow a veil like a little fire !

During the ceremony, we were saying, the man of honor plays an important role because he has to put on the couple's heads two crownes or two wreaths ( golden or white colour or made with blossoms of orange trees) after turning the crownes 3 times over their heads. These crownes are link together by a silk ribbon and symbolizes the nobility of the marriage, in fact the couple will be treated lika a king and a queen. After the exchanging of the rings the couples turn around the altart again 3 times to seal the union.

The reception is a cheerful and noisy party full of traditional greek songs and dances, during which the couple dance the "Isaiah dance" alone and then dance the Kaslamantiano together with the guests, during which the plates are broken to bring good luck and where you have to be carefull to eat your slice of sourdough bread typical (I link you a blog where I've found the recipe) because the bakers uses to put coins and little rings inside the dough to bring good luck to the newlywed.

So a wondergul party full of food of every kind as for example the baklava typical sweet from Greece (in general from the mediterranean countries) made with honey and Kourabiethes which are actually the same cookies as in the mexican weddings. Also in Greece as in Italy, exist the koufeta that's to say the classic almond candy, given to the guests at the end of the reception.

Two the curiosity of today...first..the single women who received the almond candies at the end of the reception, put them under their pillow to dream their future husband..:-D will it work also with married woman?..:-D if you dream the man beside you it's ok..if not..:-P
Second curiousity..the bride put a little sugar lump in one of her gloves to be hope her married life will be "sweet":-D

Bene..anche questa settimana la solita scelta sempre più difficile ogni giorno che passa. :-D ma quanto mi divertirò! Oggi domande più veloci..quindi ne metto un po' di più.

1) I pacchetti che una volta avevo letto sul tuo blog sono validi qualsiasi sia la mia nazionalità (da straniera)
Certo che sì. Le procedure burocratiche variano a seconda della tua nazionalità, ma qualsiasi questa sia il pacchetto non cambia. Possono cambiare in realtà gli importi dei diritti che il comune e la prefettura richiedono, ma si tratta di pochi Euro di differenza al massimo.
1-bis) (sempre sui pacchetti) Sono italiana e vorrei sposarmi a Firenze, posso usare i pacchetti che avevo letto sul tuo blog?
Certo che sì anche per te :-D. I pacchetti che ho progettato sono assolutamente adatti a chiunque. L'unica cosa che cambia sono le procedure burocratiche che chiaramente sono un po' più snelle. Per il resto va benissimo.
2) Mi aiuteresti anche con la lista di nozze?
Sì è la risposta sia che tu intenda aiutarti a compilare una classica lista di nozze presso un negozio di articoli casalinghi/regalo in base alla lista ufficiale del galateo per la compilazione più classica e completa, sia che tu intenda con la scelta del negozio e del tipo di regalo che vorreste ricevere con il tuo futuro marito. Questo vuol dire che ti aiuterei a scegliere l'eventuale agenzia di viaggio, libreria, negozi di oggettistica (sia classica che etnic) oppure potreste scegliere di farvi regalare l'organizzazione del vostro matrimonio o la mia collaborazione professionale. Ci sono coppie che hanno deciso di farsi regalare almeno il mio "compenso" dagli amici o parenti visto che stavano già convivendo (quindi non avevano bisogno di articoli per la casa) e per il viaggio già avevano fatto un'altra lista di nozze presso un'agenzia. Sia i "contributi" per l'organizzazione che per il mio compenso li gestisco direttamente io.
3)Ma se mi sposo a Dubai il matrimonio è valido anche in Italia?
Tutti i matrimonio celebrati in tutto il mondo con rito civile e quindi con produzione di un certificato di matrimonio possono essere trascritti in Italia in modo semplice e il più delle volte anche velocemente attraverso gli uffici demografici delle varie ambasciate con la collaborazione dell'ufficio demografico del vostro comune di residenza..vi stupirete vedendo quante persone lavorano con serietà e professionalità nei nostri comuni! Meraviglia.
4)Puoi ideare delle bomboniere uniche per il mio matrimonio in base al tema scelto?
Se mi chiedi di farlo :-D sì..realizzo la bozza e il campione di prova per la tua approvazione poi ho a disposizioni artigiani fantastici del settore che realizzeranno le tue bomboniere o cadeau de mariage uniche e personalizzate. Non ti preoccupare per il costo .."personalizzate" non fa rima con "costose" a casa mia :-D.
5) Quanti giorni prima dobbiamo spedire le partecipazioni?
Di regola circa quaranta giorni prima per gli invitati che vivono all'estero e circa trenta giorni per quelli vivono in Italia. Ultimamente mi capitano sempre più spesso coppie che adottano l'usanza prettamente americana del "Save the date" che è praticamente un bigliettino (oppure può essere qualsiasi oggetto di fantasia dove poter comunque scrivere tipo un magnete o blocchetto post-it) con i nomi della coppia e il giorno del matrimonio. I Save the date vengono spediti circa 10 giorni prima per ricordare appunto la data fissata delle nozze a tutti quanti. Per gli invii di solito ci pensa la famiglia della sposa , ma oggi se ne occupano entrambi i futuri sposi in modo uguale oppure se ne occupa direttamente la wedding planner.

Why I have to repeat myself again and again and again?..Where's the point in repeating it all the times?
Every day I begin a post with this complaint! But it's stronger than me..I have to say it..
IT RAINS..arghhhh! and today should have been only a little bit cloudy..ah! The coldest June in the last 100 years someone said at the television.
Wow..we are soooo lucky aren't we? :-P
Well..even this week the choice was hard and it's getting harder and harder every day..:-D how much I'm enjoying this thing? Today more questions with quicker answers.

1) The wedding packages that I've once seen on your blog are a possible choice for every kind of nationality the couple is from?
Of course yes. The bureaucratic procedures may change depending on your nationality, but the packages that I've prepared are suitable for everyone. Maybe some local taxes can change a little but it's a matter of few Euros.
1-bis) (still regarding packages) I'm italian and I wish to get married in Florence. Are your packages ok also for me?
Of course yes also to you :-D. The procedure for all the ufficial papers are different and a little easier and quicker for an italian couple, for the rest those packages are perfect also for you.
2) Would you help me also with the wedding gift-list?
Yes is the answer whether you mean helping you on creating a perfect and suitable gift-list for you in a gift/kitchenwear shop following the ufficial book of etiquette for the most classic and and complete list you can desire, or whether you mean helping you in finding the right kind of gift-list for your need and the right kind of shop for example the best travel agency, the most well supplied bookshop, the unique shop (classic or ethnic) or you can decide to receive as a gift the cost (or at least a contribution to the total cost) of the wedding organization or my professional collaboration. There are couples who have decided to receive as a gift at least my "fee" from friends or relatives as they were already living together so in no need of more kitchen tools and for the honeymoon they already had created a separete list in a travel agency. Both the "donations" for the wedding organization and for my fee are managed and organized by me.
3)If I get married in Dubai the wedding is valid in Italy?
Every wedding celebrated with the civil ceremony , so with a wedding certificate as a result, in every part of the world can be valid in Italy. The wedding certificate can be transcribe very easily and most of the times even quickly through all the demographic offices of the embassies with the collaboraton of the demographic uffice of your city hall of residence..you'll get surprised at how many persons works consciously and professionaly in our city halls. Wonderful!
4)Can you create unique cadeau de mariage (wedding favors) for my wedding based on the theme choosen?
If you ask me to yes :-D. I create the project and the tester for your approval, than I put everything in the hands of fantastic "artisans" that will realize your bombonieras with high quality materials in a professional and unique way. Don't worry for the cost.."personalized" doesn't make the rhyme with "expencive" at my dome :-D
5)How much time before we have to send the invitations?
The ufficial rule says about forthy days before, for persons living abroad and thirty days before, for those living in Italy. Lately ,always more often, couples choose to send also the "Save the date" cards which are cards (or other items of your imagination but where it's possible to print out something for example a magnet or a post-it block with the names of the couple and the wedding date written on) sent ..let's say 10 days before the wedding, to remind all the guest the exact date. Both the invitations and the save the date usually are sent by the bride-to-be family but today even the groom take care of this duty or it's your wedding planner that will send everything at the right moment.

Lavoro e premi - Job and awards

Buongiorno! Sono un po' latitante in questi giorni a causa di molti impegni di lavoro e soprattutto in questi ultimi tempi sono molto presa dalla realizzazione del mio sito che dovrebbere finalmente vedere la luce durante questa estate..non so quando..ma presto. E' un impegno non da poco visto che essendo la mia unica vetrina devo cercare di studiarla nei minimi particolari..:-D ok sono anche un po' puntigliosa di mio..comunque è una cosa che mi sta' prendendo molto tempo. Job and awards



Good morning everybody! I'm a bit at large these days due to pressing job commitments and expecially because in these period I'm busy with the realization of my website which should be finally online within the end of the summer. It' a very exacting job for the fact that this website is actually my only way to show off myself and my job, so I have to study every single detail..:-D ok I know I'm a little bit punctilious...however it's a thing that keep my busy a lot lately. So for all of these reasons, I just post only few lines to wish you a nice day..even if there isn't the sun..and I would like to thank Imma to awarded me with two awards..not only one..two! Bene bene...eccoci qui dopo un'altra giornatina di pioggia!! Eh sì mi dispiace veramente ..ormai è veramente diventato un tormentone..ma che due balls..ufff.
Comunque passiamo a cose serie..se di serie si può parlare :-P
A chi di voi aveva provato ad indovinare cos'era questo impasto dico che avete avuto molta fantasia, ma forse questa ricetta era talmente regionale che non era facile indovinare.

Sono dei dolcetti tipici sardi ..tanto per cambiare..:-D ma sapete che a casa mia è così :-P per ovvi motivi di famiglia. A mio marito manco a dirlo piacciono tantissimo, praticamente l'unico dolce che mangia, quindi ho provato a farli e devo dire che non mi sono venuti poi malaccio..potevano essere meglio :-D ma l'esperienza insegna. Come vi dicevo ci vuole un po' di pazienza perchè l'impasto deve riposare per almeno due giorni, ma la vostra pazienza verrà premiata.
Prima però di darvi la ricetta volevo ringraziare tutti voi per i messaggi che mi lasciate perchè mi riempite veramente di gioia quando li leggo e vi ringrazio anche per la pazienza che avete con me. Sono in un periodo molto caotico, ma vi leggo tutti prima o poi e a tutti mando un abbraccio. Siete grandi!
A noi..


Mustaccioli dosi per circa 40 pezzi
500 gr farina bianca di semola di grano duro
500 gr zucchero (io ne ho messo 300 gr e mi sono sembrati dolci abbastanza)
50 gr. di lievito di pane
1/2 cucchiaio di bicarbonato di sodio
1 cucchiaino di cannella in polvere
la scorza di un limone grattugiata
per la glassa : 300 gr zucchero e acqua
Sciogliete il lievito in un po' di acqua tiepida e dopo aver versato tutta la farina su una spianatoia versarvi il lievito sciolto. Amalgamare con un altro po' di acqua fino ad ottenere un impasto molto liscio ed elastico. Attenzione l'acqua aggiungetela poco a poco altrimenti rischiate di fare l'impasto troppo liquido per averne aggiunta troppa. Quando avrete l'impasto pronto copritelo con un canovaccio e lasciato lievitare almeno un paio di ore. Poi aggiungete lo zucchero un po' alla volta impastando di continuo per amalgamare bene e riottenere un impasto molto liscio. Quando avete finito con lo zucchero aggiungete la scorza del limone, il bicarbonato di sodio e la cannella. Impastate bene e lasciate a lievitare e riposare in un luogo caldo e coperto con 2 o 3 canovacci (anche lana può andare bene) per almeno 2 giorni.
Dopo due giorni riprendete l'impasto e reimpastate un po' per riammorbidire la parte superiore che si può essere un po' indurita. Stendete con il matterello l'impasto con altezza di circa 1 centimetro. Con un coltello affilato tagliate a rombi e mettete su una placca da forno. Cuocete a 150° ..nella ricetta c'era scritto per 20 minuti ma la prossima volta io li tengo solo 10-15 minuti perchè sono venuti un pochino troppo cotti e quindi una volta freddati un po' duretti.
Una volta freddi potete mettere la glassa fatta dallo zucchero sciolto nell'acqua.
Sono ancora più buoni mangiati dopo un paio di giorni e per conservarli li potete surgelare se ne avete fatti veramente molti oppure..:-D come in casa mia che spariscono in un paio di giorni causa marito affamato e goloso .-P...tenerli in un contenitore chiuso per mantenere la morbidezza e si conservano fino a due settimane. Buon appettito!! :-D ricettina facile facile ma buonissima..
Non vi aspettavate mica una ricetta da gambero rosso vero?...altrimenti avete sbagliato blog :-P..qui imbranata all'avanscoperta :-D

What's "Mustaccioli" ? :-D

Well well..so here we are after another rainy day as ever! I really can't stand anymore this weather ..it's official! :-(
Anyway let's talk about serious things..if seriuos is the right word :-P...
To all of you who tried to guess this recipe I say thank you and you had several fantastic ideas, but maybe the recipe is too regional to be well known.

They are typical sardinian (italian region I add this time :-P) sweets...just to change no?...:-D but it's obvious, you know which is the situation of my family. My husband , again obviously, loves these sweets and they are probably..not probably..the only sweets he eats so I've put all my efforts and try to bake them, they are not so bad at all for being the first time..but actually even not too good but with the experience I'll learn. As I said this recipe needs a little bit of patience because the dough has to rest for a couple of days. But your patience will be awarded at the end :-D
Before giving you the recipe I may thank all of you for visiting me and leaving me sweets and kind comments that really enlight my days. I have a very hectic period right now so I beg your pardon if I'm not always here but I always read your messages and comments sooner or later :-D and I send you a bug hug. You are great!
So...

Mustaccioli doses for about 40 pieces

500 gr durum wheat flour
500 gr sugar (but I've used only 300 gr and for me they were sweet enough)
50 gr bread yeast
1/2 tablespoon of baking soda
1 teaspoon of cinnamonn
1 the grated peel of a lemon
for the frosting : 300 gr sugar and water
Dissolve the yeast in a bit of warm water and after putting all the flour on a pastry board, pour the dissolved yeast on it and begin to amalgamate adding enough water 'till you have a smooth and elastic dough. Be carefull with the quantity of water because if it's too much you'll get a too liquid dough, so pour it slowly. Then let the dough rest covered with a dishcloth for a couple of hours to let it leavened. After this period remix the dough adding the sugar slowly to have always a very smooth duogh. When you have finish adding sugar you can add the cinnamon, the grated peel and the baking soda. Knead well and let it leavened in a warm place covered with some dishclothes (or even some wool) for at least two days.
After two days take the dough and knead it again till it is again smooth. Strech the dough with the rollin-pin till it's about 1cm thick. Then with a sharp knife cut into lozenges and put on a oven plaque. Let them bake in the oven at 150° for about 20 minutes..I must say that next time I'll leave them for less time let's say 10-15 minutes because this time they seemed to me too much cooked and when cooled they were a little bit too stale.

Once cooled put the frosting on top (melting the sugar in the hot water) and if they are too many you can store them in the freezer or ..:-D if you have a hungry and greedy like mine :-P just place them in a box and they will last for even a couple of weeks. Bon appetit! Were you expecting a complex recipe from me :-P?..this is not high difficult and sofisticat recipe ..:-D but I'm a clumsy in reconnaissance :-P!

But I can't resist doing only a cooking entry :-D..be patient..but I've found these wedding stationery with a etnich/moroccan style and I have to show them to you becasue I really find them stunning. I think Morocco is a wonderful source of ideas for Wps.

Giovedì nel mondo - Thursday around the world

Bene si ritorna alla normalità e quindi alle vere tradizioni matrimoniali nel mondo dopo la parentesi del mio matrimonio ..in capo al mondo :-D . Oggi mi piacerebbe parlarvi del Marocco. Quindi di nuovo Africa in uno stato meravilgioso e veramente da mille e una notte.

Come sempre vi dico, in molti paesi fino a non molto tempo fa, i fidanzamenti anche in Marocco erano studiati a tavolino dai genitori dei futuri sposi. Dopo il pagamento di una dote, che serviva per comprare il mobilio e oggetti vari per la nuova casa, veniva fissata la data del matrimonio con la quale iniziavano tutti i grandi preparativi per questa cerimonia sempre molto imponente e talvolta anche molto costosa (chiaramente per le famiglie più ricche)

Tutt'ora ci sono dei riti stupendi che vengono preservati, quindi anche al giorno d'oggi il giorno prima del matrimonio la futura sposa viene convocata in una "stanza della sposa" dove le sue Negaffa..chiamiamole "ancelle" che sono tutte donne più anziane amiche della madre o parenti..le fanno fare un bagno purificatore nel latte. Dopo questo bagno la donna è pronta per la Beberiska cioè per la cerimonia dell'hennè, dove per tutta la notte le negaffa dipingono sulle sue mani e sui suoi piedi dei complicati e meravigli tatuaggi che hanno lo scopo di proteggerla dagli spiriti maligni e portarle buona fortuna e fertilità. Anche il nome dello sposo viene tatuato ma in un posto nascosto.Le altre donne verranno decorate con l'hennè ma in modo più semplice e spesso solo nei palmi delle mani.

Anticamente la festa del matrimonio veniva tenuta separatamente tra gli uomini e le donne e solo ad un certo punto del pomeriggio lo sposo andava dalla sua sposa accompagnato da un gruppo di amici intonando canzoni e ballando. Una volta arrivato alla festa della sposa, lo sposo veniva sollevato sulle spalle degli amici e la sposa sollevata su un piccolo tavolino decorato o su un cuscino e venivano entrambi portati nella "stanza matrimoniale" dove era previsto che consumassero il matrimonio. Le lenzuola venivano controllate poi per assicurarsi che ci fossero macchie di sangue che confermavano la verginità della sposa. Oggi credo che solo l'usanza del sollevamento degli sposi si sia mantenuta viva. Lo spero.

Dopo la fine della festa, che per i paesi musulmani dura dai 4 ai 6 giorni,la sposa prima di entrare nella nuova casa fa ancora oggi il giro della casa stessa per almeno 3 volte per diventarne la padrona.

Curiosità lo so lo so..è previsto che la sposa non faccia nessun lavoro domestico fino a che i tatuaggi all'hennè non sono scomparsi del tutto..:-D ma allora la prossima volta ditelo prima eh! che me ne faccio uno vero ..:-D

Thursday around the world

Well we get back to normality and so at the real wedding traditions from around the world after the little break of last week with my weedding story. Today I'd love to talk about Morocco. Again in Africa in a gorgeous and stunning country .

the newlywed
As I always tell you, in many places 'till not so much time ago, even in Morocco the couples were combined by their families. After a payment of a dowry that the groom's family used to buy fornitures and other object for the new house, the wedding date was choosen and from that point all the big preparations for a fantastic and important ceremony beginned. A very rich wedding is still common among the richiest families.

Still nowdays luckly there are wonderful rites that have been preserved, so even now before the wedding day (usually the day before) the bride-to-be is convened in a room called the "bride chamber" where the Negaffa ..lets call them bridesmaid but they aren't..anyway...older women usually friends of the bride's mother or relatives...prepare a purifying bath with milk for her. After this bath the bride is ready for the Beberiska that is the Henna ceremony where for the whole night negaffa paint her hands and feet with complicate and stunning tattoos that have the task to protect the bride from evil spirits and bring her good luck and fertility. Also the name of the groom is tattooed but in a hided place. All the other women have tattoos but less complex and usually only on the palm of their hands.

Anciently the wedding party was held separetly men from women and only at a certain point of the afternoon the groom, accompained by his friends singnd and dancing, reached the bride's party. Once there the groom was raised on his friends shoulders and the bride on a cushion or a little decorated table and they were both brought to the "wedding chamber" where they were expcted to consume the wedding. The sheets were after checked to control the blood spots to confirm the verginity of the bride. I think that nowdays only the raising of the couple is still a used rite. I hope

After the end of the party, that in musulman countries last from 4 days up to 6 days, the bride before entering the new house, do the round of the house at least 3 times to became the house mistress ufficialy.

Ok I know..the curiosity...the bride does not do any house work 'till the henna is completely faded..:-D but you had to tell me before...next time I will do a permanent tattoo...:-D

Oggi ho avuto molte difficoltà a scegliere delle curiosità alle quali rispondere perchè sono tutte (e sono tante :-D) molto intelligenti e degne di risalto, quindi con metodo scientifico e metodico ho fatto alla fine la mia scelta...con la conta delle galline..:-D presente..anghinghe tre galline sul bidet..:-D o almeno qui si dice così e allora portate pazienza per la mia scemaggine e beccatevi queste domandine...-D oggi sono anche tante:

Porti gli auricolari come la JLo (ohi..sempre lei :-D) in chiesa?
Non mi è mai capitato :-D, ma questo tipo di dotazione tecnologica può essere prevista per matrimoni molto importanti sia come numero di invitati e sopratutto come ampiezza della location del ricevimento. Una chiesa così grande da dover comunicare con l'auricolare non mi è ancora capitata. :-D il prossimo matrimonio in grande però mi voglio proprio attrezzare..oh signur chissà cosa penseranno gli sposi.."ma chi è questa? quella di CSI?" :-D
Se mi volessi sposare all'estero ti occuperesti di tutto? E dove potrei andare?
Sì tranne che dell'organizzazione del viaggio inteso come biglietti aerei e hotel. Non sono un'agenzia di viaggi e quindi non posso esservi molto di aiuto, ma non per questo non vi aiuterei a trovare i voli secondo me più convenienti e sicuramente suggerirvi hotel e resort dei quali mi fido perchè provati in prima persona. Per il resto ..documenti per il matrimonio, ogni singolo aspetto della cerimonia, legalizzazione del matrimonio in italia, consigli per luna di miele da sogno etc etc.. mi occupo io di tutto. Per i posti io sono organizzata con strutture che conosco e persone fidatissime (quindi tranquilli) per sposarsi a Dubai (Emirati Arabi) nel deserto, alle Isole Fiji (Australia) e gli Ice Hotel cioè le cappelle di ghiaccio sia in Svezia che in Canada. America e Canada compresi. Per tutti gli altri posti basta che mi chiediate e io mi informo per voi e vi aiuto comunque a preparare tutto per il matrimonio.
Se facciamo un buffet quante sedie servono?
Qui ti rispondo da invitata...tante quanti sono gli ospiti. Per il fatto che avete scelto il buffet non vuol dire che ci sarà qualcuno (e di solito quando sono un'invitata tocca sempre a me :-P) che starà in piedi tutto il tempo. Buffet vuol dire che ci si alza per andare a prendere il cibo senza servizio ai tavoli. Ma prevedete sempre sedie anche in numero maggiore.
I topper per le torte che avevi postato li posso comprare attraverso di te?
Non ci sono problemi, mi dici quale è quello che ti piace (puoi andare a vedere sui siti che avevo messo sulle foto) oppure ti mando altri siti da dove puoi scegliere e poi ci penso io.
Se decido di sposarmi a Firenze mi puoi organizzare anche la prima notte di nozze? (domanda da straniera)
ermm..:-D ..ora non credo che ci sarà bisogno..penso che sappiate cosa fare no? ;-) , ma penso che tu indenta

Decisamente sì. L'assistenza email e telefonica è scelta sopratutto da quegli sposi che organizzano tutto da soli e mi vogliono solo chiedere idee e consigli . Certo che posso aiutarti anche se non sei di qui! Scherzi? :-D

Do you use the earphones like JLo (:-D always JLo) in church?
I've never used them as I have never had the real need to use them. They are part of the technological equipment of a wedding planner but for important weddings both for the huge number of guests or for the wide location choosen for the ceremony. I've never been in a church so big to have the need of earphones ..:-D the next big wedding that I'll do , I'll use them ..:-D I can't wait to see the expressions of the couple's couples :-D they'll think " Does she comes out directly from CSI?" :-D
If I choose to get married abroad will you plan everything? and where can I go?
Yes exept the orgnization of the travel in itself like air tickets , hotel ect. I'm not a travel agency so I can't be really usefull to you, but this doesn't mean that I can help you advising you the best ari company in my opinion or the best hotel or resort that I personally know and visited, so fully approved by me. For the rest, legal papers for the wedding, each and every single detail of the ceremony, the legalization of the papers in Italy (or in you residence country) , tips for a special honeymoon ect ect..I'll think about everything. For the places I'm organized with hotels and resorts that I personally visited and with persons that I trust deeply (so don't worry) to get married in Dubai (Emirates), Fiji Islands (Australia) and Iche Hotels (the iced chapels) both in Sweden and in Canada. America and Canada included. For all the other places and location just give me a call and I'll do my best to help you organizing your wedding everywhere.
If we organize a buffet how many chairs do we need?
I can answer you as a guest can do..has many as the number of guest. Not because you have choosen a buffet, that means that there will be someone (and when I'm a guest it's always me) that will stay up for the whole ceremony. A buffet just means you have to take yur own dishes without waiters to tables. Please calcoulate even more chairs respect to the number of guests.
Can I buy the cake toppers you have posted through you?
Just tell me which one you like most (you can visit the sites I've put the names on the photos ) or I can give you other websites where you have only to choose the one you prefer. I'll do the rest.

Bene bene..non riesco neanche a descrive quanto mi sono bagnata ieri sera!! ma non se ne può veramente più di questo tempo brutto ..mi piacerebbe ora qualche giorno di sole pieno..mi accontento di 2 o 3 giorni di fila. Niente. Ok.
Mentre ero in macchina ieri mattina, e già iniziava ad essere nuvoloso in modo sospetto (anche se ormai il sospetto si è fatto certezza praticamente tutti i giorni) e mi è venuto in mente il Texas..non so come mai..è sempre stato un sogno per me andare a vedere il "grande cielo" che c'è nel Texas..comunque mentro ero immersa nei miei pensieri texani ovviamente pieni di sole e di cieli limpidi e blu, alla radio inizia una canzone degli Eagles "new kid in town" . Chi la conosce già sa quanto è "country" questa canzone di una tipica melodia proprio folk-country. E mi dico "ecco anche la canzone che mi fa venire voglia di Texas ancora di più"..ma la mia mente molto malata divaga subito dal sole texano per ritrovarsi ingrovilgiata in pensieri a parere mio a dir poco allucinanti da quanto stupidi...
"ahh..che bello se potessi almeno una volta nella vita organizzare un matrimonio di un cowboy deve essere così romantico"..mi dico..e subito "ma cosa ne so che un cowboy è romantico?.."..mi rispondo.."boh..mi da l'idea di un uomo rude fuori e tenero dentro.."..mah sarà..e continuo questa ridicola conversazione mentale con me stessa mentre le macchine ferme accanto a me mi girano alla larga vedendo questa (cioè me) con stampato un sorriso da ebete in faccia e la radio folk country a tutta palla..."Silvia renditi conto.." (no ma notare il tono imperativo che uso con me stessa..quando ci vuole ci vuole)..te lo dico io ..che poi saresti tu..ma che sarei praticamente io..:-O..tu leggi troppi Harmony dove i ci sono tutti questi cowboy che hanno l'aspetto tenebroso e rude ma che si innamorano perdutamente di una gentile ragazza e diventano tutte coccole e moine..". Vero. :-D ma continuo a leggerli proprio per questo..:-D..ma che viene fuori che sono diventata wp per questo motivo?..oh signur...

Ecco chiaramente per continuare con i miei pensieri stupidi mi sono quasi dimenticata il tema di questo post. TUTTI I COLORI DI UN MATRIMONIO.
Come sempre Grissino mi da grandi idee e ..quando era? ..giorni fa? ..mi chiedeva se il nero fosse adatto o meno ad un matrimonio..ma forse stavamo parlando di cioccolato fondente come al solito :-P..comunque visto che te lo avevo promesso (insieme ad altre promesse che manterrò) ti faccio vedere quanto elegante e bello può essere un matrimonio "total black" .

Purtroppo ancora da noi non è molto diffuso il tema bianco e nero, ma vedo che ci sono sempre più persone curiose che almeno chiedono di vedere qualche idea. Di solito sfrutto sempre molto le idee americane e mi avvalgo della collaborazione di fornitori da tutto il mondo per avere l'opportunità di offrire ad una coppia le cose più ricercate e originali presenti sul mercato. O comunque cerco di riadattare le idee che trovo fuori dai confini italiani ai gusti delle nostre coppie. Sempre guardarsi attorno e imparare sempre da tutti questo è quello che mi piace di questo lavoro. Non bisogna fermarsi alla prima tipografia o al primo atelier...mai.

Well, well..I can't even describe how much I got wet yesterday evening!!! we really have enough of this bad awfull weather...I'd love some sunny days..I'd be satisfied only with a couple of sunny days in a row. Nothing! ok.
While I was driving yesterday morning, and it was already beginning to be cloudy in a sospicious way (even if the suspect has becoming a reality every day now)Texas came to my mind..I don't know exactly why..it has always been a dream for me visiting Texas and see the "big sky" ...however while I was immersed in my texan thoughts, obviously full of sun and blue and clean skyies, at the radio Eagles's "new kid in town" song started to play and those of you who know this song already know how "country" and so texan this melody is. So I said to myself "that is exactly the right song to make me think to Texas even more"..but my insane brain wandered immediately from texan sun to get entangled in thought for my point of view really stupid...

"ahh..how wonderful it could be for me to be able once in my life to organize a wedding for a real cowboy, it should be so romantic.." I tell to myself ..and I answer to myself "how do you know a cowboy is romantic?".."don't know..he gives me this feeling of rude man outside and tender soul inside.."..:-O maybe..and I continue this ridiculous conversation with myself while other drivers were avoiding me looking at this woman (it's me) with a stupid smile fixed on her face with this country-folk music at superhigh volume .."Silvia realize once in your life..(please note the imperative tone that I use with myself..when it's due it's due)..belive me...and for "me"I mean actually "you"..but pratically it's me..:-O..you read too many Harmony where there are all these fantastic cowboys so dark and rude that fall deeply in love with a delicate and kind girl and immediately turn into romantic and tender men"..true :-D..and I keep reading them just because of this ..:-D ..maybe I'll realize that I've become a wp for those readings...:-D..

So now to continue in my stupid and romantic and garbled thoughts I've nearly forgotten the main object of this post which is ALL THE WEDDING'S COLOURS.

As usually Grissino has given me great ideas and..when did it all happen?..few days ago?...he asked me if black was used in weddings...but maybe we were talking about dark chocolate then as ever :-P...however I've promised you (together with other promises I intend to mantain) I show you how elegant and gorgeous could be a "total black" wedding.

Unfortunately in our country in not so used but some couples begin to be at least curious to see some photos of black-theme weddings. I usually exploit all the american ideas and often use suplliers from all over the world to have the chance to offer a couple the best and innovative stuff present on the market. Or at least I try to readapt the ideas that I find outside Italy to our cute couples. Always look around you and always learn from everyone this is what I like most of this job. Don't stop your researches at the first atelier or at the first typography..never.

Giovedì nel mondo - Thursday around the world

Probabilmente oggi non è proprio un titolo adatto visto che al posto delle solite interessanti tradizioni e usanze matrimoniali da varie parti del mondo, ma ho deciso che oggi vi racconto , presa da una sorta di nostalgia, il MIO matrimonio. Ebbene sì ..vi annoio con cose forse di poco interesse, ma ieri stavo ripensando a quanto bello è stato e a quanto mi avrebbe fatto bene parlarne. Mi sembra ieri che mio marito (futuro allora marito) mi chiese di sposarlo..sono passati più di 3 anni (e sono pochi :-D) ma ancora ricordo la sua voglia di rapirmi e portarmi fuori dall'Italia per farmi diventare sua moglie.

Se lo chiedete a lui vi dirà , giusto per fare un ragionamento da uomo sardo duro e tutto di un pezzo, che la scelta delle Isole Fiji è stata presa perchè è un viaggio molto lungo e non proprio economico quindi quale migliore occasione se non un matrimonio per andarci...testuali parole "e ti pare che più in là con gli anni ce ne andiamo agli antipodi solo per turismo?"..ma lo conosco da troppo tempo ormai e quella non è la vera ragione. Purtoppo per lui è un uomo fondamentalmente tremendamente romantico e voleva solo portarmi in un paradiso terrestre tra spiaggie incontaminate e acque cristalline per farmi sua...il mio dolce uomo duro fuori e morbido dentro..:-D.

E' stata dura organizzare tutto da sola tra viaggi , resort, alberghi, documenti e matrimonio. Non avevo la minima esperienza, ma devo ringraziare tutte le persone che mi hanno aiutato sia dai vari resort che nelle varie ambasciate e uffici del turismo. Tutta gente meravigliosa con la quale oggi collaboro per organizzare matrimoni all'estero. Persone di estrema fiducia.

Bene..dopo ben 26 ore di aereo fatte tutte di fila solo con alcuni scali tecnici ma senza soste , finalmente arriviamo a Nadi nell'isola principale Viti Levu. La scelta del resort è stata non solo fatta in base al costo (visto che i resort sulle isolette private costavano un occhio della testa), ma sopratutto per praticità perchè dopo il matrimonio dovevamo recarci a Suva, la capitale, per apporre l'Apostille sul certificato (cioè un timbro per ufficializzare il documento per la trascrizione in Italia).

Ricordo il profumo intenso di fiori all'aeroporto e il profumo dolce quasi di vaniglia che c'era nell'aria dovunque andavo. Ricordo il resort così carino e ospitale e la mia wedding planner che è stata come una sorella per me..forse è stato proprio allora che l'idea di fare questo lavoro prendeva piede in me..la gente gentile e sorridente. Un popolo che fino a non molto tempo fa era ancora cannibale, ma ora di una cortesia e amicizia incredibile :-D.

Forse le tradizioni tipiche non sono quelle che ho vissuto perchè contaminate dal progresso e dal turismo ma è stato il "mio" sogno e lo volevo condividere con voi dopo tutto questo tempo insieme!

Il giorno del matrimonio neanche a dirlo ha piovuto e io che mi sposavo alle 17.00 ho passato l'intera mattina a guardare fuori dalla finestra del mio bongalow sperando che smettesse...:-D e ha smesso...verso le 15.00 hanno portato via il mio futuro marito chissà dove per potermi preparare.
Cinque donne fijiane mi hanno svestita, unta con un olio di fiori tropicali (che poi ho saputo famoso afrodisiaco :-P) mi hanno vestita con il costume tradizionale fatto con tessuto proveniente dalla corteccia delle palme e con i colori tipici delle Fiji :bianco, nero e marrone. Mi hanno pettinata, massaggiato i piedi e le mani e sempre sorridendo e senza parlare...solo canticchiando quasi sottovoce. Mi sembrava quasi irreale..e poi la scorta del mio guerriero personale e della mia damigella verso l'officiante e il mio quasi-marito. I petali di fiori sparsi per terra e lanciati verso me..il coro e un uomo che mi aspettava con le lacrime agli occhi.

Lo rifarei mille e mille volte ancora. A seguire le foto sulla spiaggia al tramonto. Bellissimo.

La cena a lume di candela sulla spiaggia con la serenata. L'aragosta più buona che abbia mai mangiato. Lo champagne fresco che ci aspettava in camera con la frutta. La cerimonia del Kava (estratto della pianta del pepe che ha un forte effetto anestetizzante praticamente una piccola droga) che è mescolato con acqua calda e viene fatto bere agli sposi. E' stato tutto perfetto.

Mi dispiace che questa settimana non è niente di interessante, ma per una volta la sposina da compiacere..fatela fare a me.



Thursday around the world
Maybe today it's not the right title because I won't write of interesting traditional costumes of weddings from around the world, but instead I've decided that I'll tell you, taken by a feeling of nostalgia, MY weddings. Yes, I'll annoy you with things maybe a little interest but just yesterday I was thinking of how woderful it was and how great it could be talking about it to someone. It seems like yesterday that my husband (well my husband-to-be back then) asked me to marry him..it was more than 3 years ago (few indeed :-D) but I still remeber well his willing to abduct me and carry me abroad to make me become his wife.

If you ask him he will tell you, just to be the sardinina hard and strong man, that the choice of the Fiji Islands was taken because it was a long trip and not very cheap so which better occasion than a wedding to travel so far..textual words "and do you believe that in the future years we will have again the occasion to travel so far only for turism?"...but I've been knowing him for too long now and that was not the exact reason. Unfortunately for him, he's a deeply and terribly romantic man and he only wished to bring me on a paradise on earth among beautiful and uncontaminated beaches and crystal water to make me his own property :-D...my sweet man hard outside and so tender inside..:-D.

It was really difficult organizing everything by my own among the tickets, the resort and hotels, all the legal papers and the wedding itself. I hadn't any kind of experience in organizing something like this, but I have to thank everyone I've met and helped me from the resort and hotels, from the embassy and turism bureaus. All wonderful persons with whom I still collaborate with organizing weddings in Fiji.

Well...after 26 hours of flights without stops, finally we arrive at Nadi in the main island of Viti Levu. The choice of the resort was not only taken for the cost (as the resorts on private islands were very expencive) but also because we were near in that way to Suva, the capital, to put the Apostille from the local autorithies to legalize the wedding certificate.

I remeber the intense scent of flowers at the airport and the sweet scent of some kind of vanilla that surrounded us everywhere. I remeber the resort so cute and warm and my wedding planner that was like a good friend to me..and maybe it was then that the idea of this job began to grow in my mind..the smilind and kind persons..they were cannibals untill not so much time ago ..but now they are a very kind population :-D

Maybe the traditional costumes of Fiji are not those I lived in my expereince because contaminated by the progress and the turism, but it was "my" dream and I wished to share this thing with you after all this time together.

The day of my wedding obviously it was raining 'till the beginning of the afternoon. My wedding was planned for 5 pm so I was always looking at the sky praying the rain to stop..and so it was :-D at about 3 pm the resort staff accompain my future husband away as I had to prepared for the rite. Five fijian women began to undress me, to sprinkle me with a tropical flower's oil (I was told after it was an aphrodisiac oil :-P), they dressed me with the traditional fijian costumes made of palm's bark in the typical fijian colours which are white,black and brown. They combed me, the massaged my hands and my feet always smiling and without saying even a word, only singing something softly undertone. It was like surreal to me ..then the escort of my personal warrior and my little bridemaid accompaing me to the officiant and my husband-to-be. The flower's petals on my way..the choir and a man who was waiting for me with tears in his eyes.

I could do it thousands and thousands of times again. Then the photos taken on the beach at the dawn. Stunning.

The candle-light dinner on the beach with the best lobster I've ever eaten in my life. The iced champagne waiting for us in our room. The Kava ceremony (which is a extract form the pepper tree and has an anaesthetic componet so it's almost a little drug) that is mixed with worm water and the couples has to drink it.

Everything was perfect.

Grazie a Grissino che ha trovato un nome adatto a questo appuntamento! In realtà niente di serio ma visto che settimana scorsa avete approvato la mia idea di dare delle risposte alle centinaia di domande che ricevo da quando ho il blog, vi annoio anche oggi con qualche domandina rigorosamente anonima e presa a caso.

Behh...diciamo che la prima che mi viene in mente e alla quale ho promesso risposta proprio nel post di ieri è:

Quanto costa una wedding planner?

:-D bella domanda. Domandona alla Mike Bongiorno eh? Partiamo con il fatto che non tutti i wedding planner applicano gli stessi prezzi e le stesse tariffe. Quindi io posso parlare solo di me stessa e non di tutta la categoria in generale...molti di voi mi hanno sollevato il problema del prezzo e ci tengo a questa risposta perchè ho proprio paura che molti non si decidano neanche a chiedere un preventivo perchè spaventati già da quello che immaginano. Niente di più sbagliato.

Allora faccio outing vi dico che io personalmente giudico sempre la situazione prima di fare un preventivo. Studio un po' cosa mi viene chiesto e la complessità dell'organizzazione. Ci sono molte cose che prendo in considerazione per fare un prezzo. Ma diciamo che generalmente per i matrimoni di italiani in Italia si inizia con 150.00 euro circa per apertura pratica, se seguo tutto il matrimonio dalla A alla Z il mio compenso sarà dal 10 al 15 % sul budget speso (dipende dalla complessità dell'organizzazione). Se invece mi occupo solo di un aspetto dell'organizzazione (come la scelta della location o del catering) oppure mi occupo solo della regia del giorno del matrimonio con mia presenza alle nozze e coordinamento dei fornitori (ma avete pensato a tutto voi) il mio compenso è un importo fisso che purtroppo non posso definire con precisione perchè valuto di volta in volta (se avete dubbi scrivetemi l'aspetto che vi interessarebbe far segure e sarò più precisa) ma comunque sono cifre estremamente abbordabili.

Per i matrimoni di italiani all'estero e degli stranieri in Italia il mio compenso varia a seconda sopratutto della complessità dell'iter burocratico da min. 300,00 a ..mah..non so non c'è un massimo in assoluto. Ecco ora sparate pure sul bersaglio immobile..:-D sono qui.

Sono straniera e vorrei sposarmi a Firenze, pensi tu a tutti i documenti?

Dipende dalla tua nazionalità, ma penso a tutta la parte che può essere svolta qui in Italia e ti assisto comunque via email per aiutarti con quello che dovrai fare dal tuo paese di origine. Comunque per iter più lunghi consiglio sempre di arrivare almeno 3 o 4 giorni prima per essere tranquilli che tutto è perfetto. Poi comunque appena arrivati organizzo un incontro con voi per pianificare tutti i dettagli. E dopo il matrimonio vi assisto per l'eventuale trascrizione legale del matrimonio nel vostro stato di provenienza.

Perchè pagare una wedding planner per fare quello che posso fare da sola?

Certo che una delle cose che più volte mi viene detta è " perchè dovrei far fare a te quello che aspetto da una vita di fare io?" ovviamente detto dalla futura sposa. ..uhmm..non è così difficile capire che quello che una ragazza ha in mente di fare per il proprio matrimonio non è esattamente quello che l'aspetta vero? E chi si è già sposata tra voi lo sa perfettamente. Proprio perchè quello che era il vostro sogno rimanga tale affidatevi a qualcuno che vi toglie tutti i pensieri e vi fa godere solo le cose più belle di questo periodo lungo e faticoso ma meraviglioso. Non meno importante è l'occasione di poter risparmiare..sì sì avete capito bene. Come wedding planner riesco a far ottenere alla copia qualche sconto dai fornitori con i quali collaboro. Quindi alla fine dei salmi considerato anche il mio compenso potete riuscire anche a risparmiare sul vostro budget prestabilito.

Mi posso sposare a Firenze in qualsiasi periodo dell'anno?

Certo tesoro che sì qualsiasi periodo (tranne questi ultimi giorni..sgrunt..) sono perfetti anche se io preferisco il periodo autunnale quando la luce si riflette sui palazzi antichi del centro e diffonde un colore rosato nell'aria che è così romantico e ti prendo proprio il cuore. E grazie alle cerimonie simboliche si può celebrare la cerimonia anche sulla terrazza di un famoso relais al Piazzale Michelangelo con la città ai vostri piedi e il tramonto che vi bacia.

Thanks to Grissino that has found the right name for this weekly appointment. Nothing seriuos to tell you the truth, but for the fact the last week most of you were really happy about my idea of answering to some of the hundreds of questions that I've been receiving since I opened the blog, I'm going to annoying you also today with some questiong strictly anonimous and chosen in random.

Well...let's say that the first one that comes to my head is the one I've promised to answer to yesterday in my post.

How much do a wedding planner cost?

:-D good question! A multimilionaire question isn't? Let's begin telling that not all the wedding planners have the same price list and costs. So I'm talking only for myself and not for all the category in general...a lot of you has raised the cost problem so I'm happy to explain at the best that I can this point because I guess there are some of you how dont't even ask me for an estimate afraid it will be too expencive. Nothing more wrong.

So I'm outing myself and I tell you that honestly I study the situation before giving a price. I study what is asked and how much difficult and complicated is a "case". There are several things I take in consideration before deciding a price. Generally for italians couples here in Italy there is a "opening" cost of 150.00 euros than if I follow all the organization from A to Z my fee is a percentage from 10-15% on the total budget depending on the complexity. If I plan and organize only an aspect of the wedding (i.e. only the selection of the location or the food catering) or I only organize and coordinate all the suppliers on the wedding day (and you have planned all the rest) my fee is an amount that changes depending on the aspect to plan and the complexity of the organization but they are all affordable prices believe me.

For the weddings of italians abroad and of foreigners in Italy my fee goes from a min. 300,00 up to a max of there isn't a max actually.. depending on the complexity of the bureaucracy. So..now shot to the fixed target..:-D here I am.

Of course I do darling. I'll produce all the papers needed that is possible to have from here in Italy. It depends obviously from your original country. But I follow you and help you with all the documents you have to make in your country. However for longer and more complicated situations I advise the couple to arrive 3 or 4 days previous the wedding so that we can fix everything with all the papers needed. Anyway I always orgainze a meeting with the couple the day before to check that every detail is perfect. I'll give you assistance even after the wedding if you wish to transcribe legally your certificate in your country.

Why should I pay a wedding planner to do what I've always dreamt to do?

One of the most common sentence that I hear is " why should I let you do something that I've waited all my life to do?"..obviously said by the bride-to-be...uhmm...it's not so difficult to understand that what a woman has in mind to do for her wedding is not exactly what she has thought from the beginnig am I wrong? those of you how are already married know exactly what I mean. Just to let that beautiful dream called "wedding" remains such please rely on a wedding planner to take you out of any bad and complicated situation, leaving you to live and enjoy fully that special and magic period before the marriage. Not less important is the chance to save something..yes yes..you've understood percfectly . As a wedding planner I can obtain some discounts from the suppliers that collaborate with me so at the end even adding my fee you can be perfectly able to save some thing from the total budget decided.

Can I get married in Florence in every period of the year?

Of course yes. Every period (exept these last days..sgrunt...) is perfect for a wedding in Florence but I prefer the autumn because the light reflcts on the ancient buildings and gives to the air that special and romantic pink shadow that I love and adore. Thanks to the symbolic ceremonies you can get married on a stunning terrace of a famous Relais in Piazzale Michelangelo with the entire city at your feet and an incredible dawn that kiss you tenderly.

Il dopo pausa - After the break

Buon Martedì a tutti! Mi siete mancati tutti quanti e mi è mancato questo spazio virtuale dove posso raccontare, ridere e pensare insieme a voi.

Questi cookies sono stati confezionati così come regalo per gli invitati. Ma non sono meravigliosi? Per non sfatare mai il detto che "il più semplice è il più bello". Grande Martha..prega per me..Oh Martha..proteggimi dai fai da te..(ahi ahi ahi) e dai diffidenti.

Eh già..mi è bastato un giorno di pausa e una lunga chiaccherata con una persona per farmi capire alcune cose. Primo mi sono stupita di me stessa perchè ho parlato per ben 3 ore continuative e di solito non sono una logorroica. Secondo parlare con una persona sconosciuta è stato più liberatorio di quanto pensavo. E allora parlando parlando sono venute fuori cose che non avevo mai realizzato.

La diffidenza che la gente prova nei confronti del mio lavoro è purtroppo un ostacolo. E ora l'ho capito. Non smetterò mai di ripetere che non mi sostituisco alle scelte e ai gusti di una coppia, ma capisco che sia difficile decidere di affidarsi ad una wedding planner. Lo capisco. E' normale.
Alla fine della chiaccherata e dopo un giorno di pausa sono ancora più convinta che lo scopo vero del mio lavoro non è solo cercare un vestito per la sposa o organizzare i vari fornitori, ma è sopratutto dare tranquillità.
Sembra poco vero? ..invece è un lavoro e anche molto impegnativo. E lo amo.
E d'ora in poi alla domanda "che cosa fa' una wedding planner?" risponderò "permette alla coppia di ricordare ogni singolo istante del loro giorno, di ricordarsi cosa e come hanno mangiato, di aver dedicato a tutti gli ospiti tempo e affetto. Permette loro di ricordarsi quanto bello è stato sposarsi"...e questo perchè avevano la mente libera di ogni altra preoccupazione :-D no?

Happy Tuesday to everybody! I've missed you so much and I've missed a lot the virtual space where I can tell, laugh and think together with you.

These cookies have been packaged like this to be favors for a wedding. Aren't they gorgeous? It's so right to say " the simpliest is always the best". Great Martha..pray for me..Oh Martha from the "do it by yourself" and the sospicious persons.

Yes..it has been enough for me a day of break and a long chat with a person to let me understand some things.

First of all I'm surprised of myself because I'm not used to talk for 3 hours continuosly without breaks as I'm not a persons who talks a lot.Moreover talking with someone who is completely unknown to me has been more liberating that what I could have thought of. And after talking and talking I realsed things I've never even think about.
The sospicious of the persons regarding my job is an obstacle for me. And now I've understood it. I'll never finish telling that I don't replace the couple's decisions and tastes, but I can understand that it's not easy to rely on a wedding planner. I understand it. It's normal.
At the end of the long :-P talking and after a day of break I've even more convinced the the major aim in my job is not only helping in choosing a wedding dress or planning all the suppliers but most of all give peace of mind. Does it seem easy? ..:-D instead it's a challenging job. And I love it.
And from now on at the question " what does exactly do a wedding planner?" I'll answer " gives to the couple the chance to remember every single moment of their special day, remember what and how they ate, gives them time to dedicate themselves to each guest. Let them remeber how beautiful was their wedding"..and this beacuse they had their mind free from any other concers ..:-D am I wrong?

Colazione con risposta - Breakfast with answer

Scusate. Ho trascurato il blog per un paio di giorni. Perdono.

Mi sono presa una pausa ieri di riflessione. Sapete quando avete così tante idee per la testa e così poco tempo..quando non avete neanche chiaro quali siano le idee valide e quali solo piccole scemenze? Ecco io ero arrivata proprio lì. E da esperienza, mi dovevo "spengere" per almeno un giorno per poter ri-accendermi oggi con le idee un po' più chiare...:-D e così è stato. Prossimamente vi espongo e propongo ;-) e voi siate sinceri mi raccomando a dirmi cosa ne pensate!

Ma ora la ricetta di questo squisito dolce molto facile che preparo spesso per la colazione. Veramente easy! Quasi mi vergogno a postare una cosa così facile ma fatto da me ..capite che è un traguardo!

Torta rustica al cioccolato

(non mi chiedete per quante persone perchè dipende dalla fame! :-D)

2 uova

100 gr zucchero di canna

100 gr farina 00

100 gr farina integrale

1/2 bustina di lievito

1/2 bicchiere di latte intero

50 gr burro

cioccolato a scaglie (quantità a vs. piacere)

Preriscaldare il forno a 185°

Unite le uova allo zucchero poi il burro fuso. Mescolare fino a ottenere un composto omogeneo. Aggiungere le farine setacciate e il latte (dove avete fatto sciogliere velocemente il lievito) . Una volta che il composto risulta ben mescolato potete aggiungere la cioccolata. O se preferite anche pezzi di banana o fiocchi d'avena e uvetta.

Far cuocere per 40 minuti. :-D e buona mangiata!

Dato che le "FAQs" del mercoledì sono molte e non riesco a gestirle tutte in un giorno cercherò di postare una domandina singola ogni tanto anche in altri giorni..altrimenti creo troppa coda di attesa...(comunque vi rispondo anche in privato e in modo più dettagliato eh!)

Se mi sposo a Firenze quali sono i documenti che servono?

Considerato che questa domanda viene dall'estero..dipende molto dalla tua nazione di provenienza. Per gli stati europei è abbastanza facile e veloce la procedura burocratica per sposarsi all'estero. Basta un documento d'identità e un Nulla-Osta al matrimonio rilasciato dall'Autorità di Rappresentanza del vostro Stato in Italia (avrete la mia assistenza per il rilascio di questo nulla-osta). Non è necessaria la legalizzazione della firma del Console o Ambasciatore per tutti i paesi dell'Unione Eurpea. Per le altre nazioni come l'America o l'Australia ci sono un po' di cose da fare ma non niente di troppo complicato e comunque avete la mia assistenza piena anche sulla produzione di tutti i documenti necessari. Qualsiasi dubbio sono qui :-D.

Breakfast with answer

Sorry. I've negleted the blog for a couple of days. I beg your pardon.

I've taken a reflection break. You know when you have so many ideas running in your head and so short time...and you don't even know which are the good ideas and the only stupid ones? :-D I have arrived at that point and from past experience I knew that I had to "switch off" myself for a day to be able to reswitch on me in a better mood and clearer state of mind...:-D and so it has been. In the future I'll expose you my ideas and you'll be so kind to give me your opinion with sincerity.

But now the recipe of this delicious cake which is so easy to do that I feel almost ashamed of posting it. But you know that considering my abilities in baking ..:-D this is a big goal for me!

Chocolate rustic cake

(don't ask me for how many persons 'cause it depends on how hungry they are :-D )

2 eggs

100 gr demetra sugar

100 gr ap flour

100 gr whole wheat flour

1/2 a sachet of yeast

1/2 a glass of whole milk

50 gr unsalted butter

chocolate flakes (as many as you wish)

Preheat the oven at 185°

Mix the eggs with the sugar and then add the melted butter. Then add the sifted flours and the glass of milk (in which you have previously quickly dissolved the yeast). Mix untill it is smooth and then add the chocolate. You can add otherwise banana slices or raisins with wheat flakes.

Bake it for 40 minutes...:-D and taste it!

For the fact the the Wednesday "FAQs" are a lot and I really can't manage them only in one day per week I decided to try and post one little question sometime also in the other days...otherwise I create a long waiting row :-P..(anyway I'll answer you even privately in a more detailed way!)

If I decide to get married in Florence which are the papers that I have to produce?

(considering that this question comes from abroad)..well really depends on the State you come from. For the European member states is quite easy and fast to prepare everything. You need a ID document and a Nulla-osta to the wedding issued by from the ufficial Rapresentative Autorithies of your State here in Italy (I've got my complete assistance from the issuing of this paper). You don't need a legalization of the signature of the Ambassador or Consulate if you come from an CEE states. For all the other States like Usa or Australia the papers to be prepared are a little more but nothing too long or diffucult and however you have my complete and illimited assistance for the burocratic papers. Any doubt I'm here...:-D.
